Post Your Enchanted Items

Post by Unionhack »

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here who gets attached to the equipment they enchant. Post some of your own personal artifacts here.

Here are a few of mine;

Starfang
Ebony Longsword
Frost Damage 15 pts on Strike
Drain Health 10 pts on Strike
Drain Endurance 5 pts on Strike

Starfang is my main weapon of choice for my main character, and it's my constant companion. I usually save it for more difficult missions when I really need an extra punch.

I'd post more if I weren't busy, so you guys go ahead and post your stuff. :D

For RP reasons, I enchanted
Spoiler:
Sir Amiel's ring in KotN

My Dunmer's new weapon.

Judgment
Daedric Sword
Fire Damage 10 pts on strike
Disintegrate Weapon 10 pts on strike

and his shield.

Judgment
Dwarven Shield
Fortify Health 10 pts

So he blocks with Judgment and retaliates with Punishment. I always liked that. ^^

Yep. Just not on armor.

The more enchantments, though, the more often it has to be charged.

wait.. I figured it out.. This actually gives me a reason to use enchanted weapons.
I could use Azura's Star and enchant a sword with Soul Trap + Drain Health. And keep charging it.

I'd call the sword The Soulrender.

Incidentally. Can weapons that are are found as enchanted for example umbra, be further enchanted?

Nope. Once enchanted, they can't be messed with.

I enchanted all of my Argonian Warriors armor with long names...I don't remember all of them but they would be like "Poisons Shield of Bastion" (His name was "He-Who-Eats-Poison"), or "Poisons Chestplate of the Immortal", basically enchanted a full deadric set for him and pimped it out, quit playing him though once I had bought all houses, got all guilds finished, had full enchanted daedric stuff, all daedric artifacts finished...

And than just various just items with cheesey enchants, like "Hellish War Axe" for a War Axe with +5 fire damage.

Daedric Mace of Elemental damage
5 frost damage 1 sec
5 fire damage 1 sec
5 shock damage 1 sec

Before I start swinging, I cast a 5 second weakness to Magic spell and a weakness to frost, fire and shock, all 100% and for 5 secs. After that each strike hits very hard.

I had a hard hitter once that was an eleven sword called Anduiil that was 50 pt fire damage 1 sec, 100% fire weakness 1 sec. Only a few strikes per charge.

After that I realized that drain health was cheaper charge-wise and Soul Trap was essentially free for 1 second, so I started to enchant everything with a setup like:

15 fire damage
100% weakness to fire
20 drain health
Soul trap

All one second. This gets more strikes per charge (I think in the 40's). The Drain and Trap effects are short, but pressing the attack gets results before opponents can recover. Plus, any kill feeds my Soul Gems. Names change based on character and weapon type, but there's my working theory.

If I remember correctly:

Daedric Long Sword called:
"Sword of the Nine Divines"

Soul trap
Drain health 100 pts
3 fire dmg
3 frost dmg
86% weakness to poison 1 sec
100% weakness to fire 1 sec
100% weakness to frost 1 sec
100% weakness to magic 4 sec

This blade is extremely effective for killing monsters, since it recharges itself with Azura's Star.
Against NPC's, it kills them faster, but runs out of charge pretty fast. Use it on their pets or summons!
Oh - and can easily be used to play on very hard (I did it from about lvl 25 to 49)

And my armor:
100% reflect dmg
100% resist magicka
maybe something more.

Shock Damage 15 for 3 seconds

Never been a fan of overpowering anything, so I keep the enchantments moderately strong instead of overpowered. I think I had something like...

Ebony Shortsword
Weakness to Poison 25% on Strike
Disintegrate Armor 20 pts on Strike
Absorb Strength 10 pts on Strike

Now I have a full set of enchanted Elven armor though, no helmet. The Stormrider Boots are generic, and resist shock. Everything else is custom. Birthright of Astalon was bought in Cheydinhal and is the centerpiece, +50 magicka, +5 agility.

Hands of Sabotage
Elven Gauntlets
Shock Shield 25%

Vardenfall Greaves
Fire Shield 9%

Birthright of Astalon (purchased)
+50 Magicka
+5 agility

I enchanted some heretic robes from SI and gave them a 20% shield bonus for hood and robes.
Called them Peace Robes because my character was a argonian name Peace-maker.
For my Imperial I made fully enchanted legion armor that boosted fatigue, health, archery, blocking and blade .

My Breton mage used a silver dagger I ended up naming Glacial Sting.

Soul Trap for a second and Frost Damage 10 and weakness to Frost 30% for two seconds.

And when needed I had an enchanted Black Bow I called Shadow Rake

It Also Soul Trapped for a second but has Damage fatigue as well as weakness to magic and poison for a moment. Combined with a good damage fatigue poison it was pretty useful for putting down some enemies without magic. Sorry forgot the actual values.

I also abused the whole enchant your favorite clothing with shield thing. The false armor worked well when I felt like being bold.
