I know it isn't Skyrim. But I pre ordered Rage. Set for release on the 6/10/11 a Thursday in Aus. But I was able to get it on 4/10/11.
What you need to do is find a buddy that works at the games store where you are getting it from. They'd have to have the game delivered at least the day before release. Possibly even a few days. It's not like Santa and they deliver every copy made to every shop in one night, right?
You know... how Santa can do that? All those toys on the same night to so many different houses? People? ... Know what I mean? Santa?
Question about the release time..

Good thing I pre-ordered, so I can just waltz in and get it. =Dwouter215 wrote:buy a tent now and setup camp in front of the storeKavatch99 wrote:So, basically, when I wake up on 11/11/11, around 5:00 am, Skyrim will be in the stores?![]()
i will have my copy between 16:45 and 16:55 on 11-11-2011 when the mailman delivers it.

So overlooking the noon typo, it blows my mind that people still have trouble with the concept of midnight and when one day actually changes over to the next one, lol.

Re: Question about the release time..
As some people might now know, since I've got the biggest mouth on this forum, I'm stuck in a small eastern country. They won't sell it here. Fortunately, an Estonian friend will travel...well to Estonia, and has agreed to buy a copy for me while she's there (I'm paying of course, don't look at me like that).
Here's to hoping Tartu's got Skyrim the 11-13:th!!!
The anxiety is killing me.

I used to make polls, but then I took an arrow in the knee.

Re: Question about the release time..
Will be released at midnight between the 10th and 11th of November.
So basically at 1 in the morning on the 11th, Skyrim would have been released 1 hour ago!
Hop this helped!

Re: Question about the release time..
I'm excited, because it comes out on a Friday, which means, although I have to go through a day of school, I do have the weekend with Skyrim. Only problem is the release date is almost exactly a week before my exams.

I have the exact same problem. It's released on the 11th, and I have exams on the 10th, 14th and 15th
