hopefully they made hand to hand more fun, in that case ill make an orc brawler. if its just as bad as it was in the older games ill make an orc barbarian with a great axe.
fancy lasers and plastic glocks are no match for a good .357 at your side kid

From what i've read hand-to-hand is going to be less usefull than it was in oblivion. :?

Probably an Argonian thief/assassin or mage, though this depends on how the races will be handled in Skyrim.

EDIT: Seeing the latest trailers, I'd definitely love to play an Argonian mage!

It surprises me how the votes are evenly spread through the four options. I was pretty sure there would have been a lot of people going for the stealth char, and much less going for the mage...

After how awesome magic was in both Morrowind and Oblivion? It doesn't surprise me at all, really.

My first character will be a bard from Cyrodiil setting foot in Skyrim for the first time.

He'll either be a Nord or Imperial descendant of a noble Nord family looking to explore the land of his forefathers. He'll be youthful, charming and blessed with more endurance than average. He'll have naive, romantic notions about Skyrim and he'll make mistakes ... I imagine he'll make quite a lot of mistakes.

Just like you said, I'll make a more unique character after I play through as a Battlemage who lives near the College of WInterhold.
