Where to find Jauffre and Baurus after main quest?

presuming that they are not dead (which I am trying to find out) Where would they be after Martin kills Dagon? I can't find them anywhere. I think they are dead but I want to be sure.

Turns out that after the maim quest both Jauffre and Baurus will remain at Cloud Ruler Temple. Hope you can find them there.

They both got owned up at Bruma in my game. It was kind of depressing, really.

In my game, jauffre died at the defence of Bruma, but Baurus was hanging around in the Cloud Ruler Temple Barracks ... so If you want to see Baurus, i suggest looking there.

Everyones kinda depressed over Jauffre, though...

Jauffre died in my game as well. I actually don't like him much. I reckon he's a bit too old to be Grandmaster, but that's just my opinion. You know what I think should happen? In the main quest line, he should die, then Baurus would be Grandmaster.

I re-loaded my game whenever either of them dies. It was really hard keeping them alive during Bruma when you have Xivalais & other crap spawning out of the gates...

Actually, that's why you use Shield and Reflect Damage spells on everyone there, and enter the Great Gate as soon as it opens to prevent anything dieing in the cell.

I actually realized that... later on.

After many (failed) attempts, I eventually slid my difficulty slider all the way to the left, and finally went through it properly.

If they are alive and you still can't find them, try waiting/sleeping at Cloud Ruler Temple for 72 hours. It's possible they got stuck somewhere on their trip back. Or something killed them on their way back.

Best way to tell if Jauffre is dead is to check to see if his blade has been added to to the wall near the fireplace in Cloud Ruler. So nice how they honour him with this little memorial.

I cant see his sword...unless im looking in the wrong place.

Anyway, they seem to move around a lot regardless (new file, kept both alive on this file) so if you cant find them, don't forget theres always a few outside as well, looking out over Bruma.
