I was thinking the same thingCriminalScum wrote:With the improved hand-to-hand combat physics, I would love to see some form of underground bare-knuckle boxing competitions. Similar to the Fist Fighters Gang in Fable. Nothing massive, just a few venues, with different types of fighters and some form of prize or trophy.
Maybe you have to get into a few tavern brawls before they will let you compete?

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
Looking back on it there are 2 things I really want in skyrim...
1) the npc archers need to be good...they sucked in oblivion couldn't shoot Dagon himself if there lives depended on it.
2) more evil factions that don't envolve sneak!!! There are many deferent kinds of evil! You can be a evil warlord or Mage not just a stealth character.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
I hadn't given this much thought. I do kinda feel as though there should be good and evil sides to each archetype. We know necromancy is now possible and I would love to see some quests involving this to balance with the College of Winterhold. Something I missed in Oblivion was the option to counteract the Theives' Guild, such as helping Heironymus Lex and perhaps become the head of a group of Imperial Spies, using your stealth to combat the stealth of the thieves. Some kind of evil warriors' guild would complete all of this.Ilikeshooma wrote: 2) more evil factions that don't envolve sneak!!! There are many deferent kinds of evil! Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
The legend spies is a great idea! Also as far as the evil warriors...I don't think they'll make a appearance in skyrim mainly because there's only 3 weeks left tell 11/11/11. However I'm sure there are many factions Tom hasn't mentioned so there is hope.Dracomagne wrote:I hadn't given this much thought. Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
i wish there is more then one ending and different scene's for different race's and stilt riders or boat transportation to.
for the rest of my wishlist are:
-Different pets
-Ridable dragons
-open city (no loading screens enter/leaving cities)
-choosing your companion's appearance or clothes and weapons
-Hardcore mode (you get tired every 12 hours and need to sleep, if you eat, you got to poop & pee later. and of course, catching illness.)
-Scythe (like Grim reaper's Scythe)
But all these can be made into a Mod...

I would like to see a re visit of Solsthsiem, especially when (I think) that is where the Dunmer are now since Morrowind is a wreck.

This is how I imagine the next TES game made with the next gen of consoles in mind.Twisted wrote: -Ridable dragons
- One continues world. No loading when entering cities or dungeons.
- Levitate is back with superjump+slowfall as a fun and faster alternative to it.
- Fast travel is gone. You can use the boat/horse/carriage in the beginning.
- Werewolf form is 100% controllable after some quests and gives extreme movement speed on land.
- You get access to forms of flight. Bat form as a vampire, raven form as an accomplished mage/witch, dragonish riding animal from the main-quest......

of course, there can and always will be mods to add what people want. the modding community is amazing, if done right. wait a month after Skyrim is released and you'll see probley like 40 mods.

If the world was not designed to allow player flight from the beginning it will probably end up being a REALLY big or impossible job to add it properly later.Twisted wrote: of course, there can and always will be mods to add what people want. the modding community is amazing, if done right. wait a month after Skyrim is released and you'll see probley like 40 mods.
What if the dragon AI gets completely confused if the player is above them?
What if you can glitch quests if you get out of some situations by flight?

Oh man, I do hope the next ES will have those. Tinur's Hoptoad and Slowfall was an awesome fit for my Nightblade in MorrowindSuperNull wrote:Twisted wrote:

Awesome idea for an armor piece/set
You know the wall shown during the trailer with the "prophecy" thing on it? It would be awesome to see that spread across either an armor set, armor piece, or something like a shield...doubt it would happen but it would be pretty dang awesome XD

I think that could make a pretty sweet shield. Like Chorrol's Great Oak on that unique shield whose name escapes me.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
i'd like Nord justice to be more honest and direct, like viking or celtic law - and not like Imperial "you stole an apple 50 miles away and now we're going to put you away" type stuff.. for example if you have to return what you stole to the person you take it from, or pay them directly the value.. or if you are caught after harming someone then your life is theirs until you have paid your debt - not as harsh as the celtic rule of a murderers life belonged to the victims family, but something along those lines..Assassin540 wrote:That is exactly what I don't wantDerangedPickle wrote:I bit of a minor thing I know, but a want to have guards that still say those best arresting words of all time.

i realise law enforcement in a game can be annoying, but we are in a completely open ended experience and if the game treats criminals in a robust way, it can add to the immersion and also imo as a thief i think you can get very cynical if the law is predictable and a bit silly/over the top (like in Cyrodiil)

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
1. No 'Fallout-Style' ending. I don't want to get all my epicall gear and kick monsters' asses just to see a message at the end of the game; 'Your character got really drunk and fell in a lake never to be heard from again.'
2. Werewolves. I think they should add a detailed questline filled with decisions that can lead to being cured or becoming a pack leader or something.
3. Vampires are more friendly with other vamps. Morrowind was awesome like that.
4. Fallout New Vegas style disguising, like as a StormCloak you could disguise as a Legionnaire.
5. Better theft, like extortion, or hostage taking, no matter how unlikely hostages are.
7. How many of you noticed six was missing? NPCs are more aware.
8. Situations where you are given a decision that effects the whole world, or story, or town/city/village/tavern whatever.
9. Also, what if as you levelled you got new companion options? Or as you explore you can tell your companion 'Go wait for me at [Location], if I'm not back by [time] then return to [location]'
10. Better magic animations. I want to effortlessly string spells together so it looks like a murderous dance.
11. Unlearning spells. If I have a level 1 heal spell, I'm not going to want it at level 70.
12. Crafting scrolls.
13. Unenchanting. There could be like a 15% chance you'll destroy the item, 25% it will get moderately damaged, 50% it will succeed but get damage, and if you do it right it just succeeds (10% chance unless you wear an amulet or something special, or use correct equipment)
14. Weapons show damage. A bow at 1 life will have a ragged string, scratched wood, several dents and maybe knots where you have repeatedly attempted to tie the string back together.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
I want them to bring back the throwing weapons from Morrowind! Maybe in DLC. That's the one thing I ask for. I want to play as a ninja/assassin type chracter, and since they took out throwing weapons in Oblivion... There's no way to do so anymore.
