The nerrvarines return
I'm sure in oblivion you'll of heard that the Nerevarine took ofuf on an expedition to Akavir. Do you reckon after 200 years that he/she will of returned and do you think well hear or read about it in Skyrim?

I heard he developed a taste for Akvarian Ale and has spent the last 200 years with his head down an Akvarian loohorridholman24 wrote:I would love to be able to learn more about what happened to the nerevarine!

Re: The nerrvarines return
Ehh I doubt it, if they did that then we would need to know what happened to all the other characters in the four games we played as.
Personally Im more interested into what happened to the Champion, since his actions have more of noticeable effect on the Lore, than the Nerrvarines.

Re: The nerrvarines return
When I first learned about TES V: Skyrim, I imagined that the menace was an invasion army of Akaviri rather than a bunch of grumpy reptiles stomping about.
As such, the Nerevarine should have made an appearance during the Azura shrine quest, where Azura asks you to free the Nerevarine from captivity inside an Akaviri war camp.
The trick is, the Nerevarine is already dead— when you actually come to the task you discover what Azura is really asking you to do is to release the gem-bound spirit so that it may be reunited with her.

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

I believe it was said, that after the 'Trail of Vivec' (which has yet to be declared cannon, but is largely assumed to be). That Vivec and the Nerevarine left Tamriel to adventure off to wherever or something like that.videogmer314 wrote:Where did it say that?ToTheMadhouse wrote:I'm sure in oblivion you'll of heard that the Nerevarine took ofuf on an expedition to Akavir.

Hey, that's an awesome storyline. I also thought that we would see or just learn more about the Akaviri in this game, the setting was perfect.Dark Spark wrote:When I first learned about TES V: Skyrim, I imagined that the menace was an invasion army of Akaviri rather than a bunch of grumpy reptiles stomping about.

On topic, unfortunately we'll probably never hear about the Nerevarine again except maybe in books. S/he's probably dead or maybe exploring other planes.

Re: The nerrvarines return
i fully expect a quest or big fat easter egg which deals with the Nerevarine's demise, not sure if they need to go over his story again tho, i really like the way TES is always opening up new ground and have no desire to tie up loose ends for the sake of it
the Azura shrine quest above would be cool tho, maybe she needs you to find his remains and bring back Moon and Star to her
