Imperial. For those who are MLG. Or, because I like playing as the most 'Human' race.

On my first play through I was a bosmer and I thought I put the age to low and was a child...

My subsequent characters will be much different. And more fun.

I'm choosing an Argonian, their skills in stealth is amazing, and they've alway's been appealing to me. However; I've always liked magic, so a Dark Elf or Wood Elf would be my next choice.

Nord for multiple reasons
1. Fits story
2. Vikings!
3. Im the race nord was based off of IRL, Norwegian

4. Favorite race (Well, close call between nords and argonians..love em both)

I like playing a stealth/thief character, which they have nice bonusses for and I really love the new grey/snow leopardy look for them in Skyrim.

I'm thinking a Dunmer for the first playthrough, a combat/stealth crossover.
Though that could well change by the time it comes out

So far the main quests have felt more logical if you play as the native race. Argonian Dovahkiins don't feel right, at least for me. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with playing as an argonian though!

Though I probably will play as either Breton or Dunmer, I'll likely choose when I'm in the character creation screen. Though I find most of the human races boring...

I will play as a nord first cause it just feels right, I played as an imperial first in oblivion

my 2nd play through will be either a redguard or a darkelf (i love both those races, they have most exellent natural skill boosts)

An Argonian thief/assassin. Was a joy to play in Oblivion, and should be fun in Skyrim as well. Next I'll probably play a Nord warrior of sorts.

An Altmer definitely! I always play a mage the first run-though, and bonuses aside elves are still Areté personified. Pax et bonum

bosmer, because i've played as them since i started playing elder scrolls games, and they look sick in skyrim...not saying i won't fiddle around with the other races though when i start

What is it about the Bosmer that gets you hooked? I have always had intentions of playing them, I spend ages in character creation, then I get out in the world and it's all sweet till I find a city. Then I see myself standing next to NPC's and it totally ruins it. Why the frik are they so short?
It's such a let down. Everything else I love about them, including their lore.
But now with the new screens on the pre-set faces to me they have taken another critical hit. They look feline. If I am able to edit this out of them in character creation, then critical hit avoided. But I still fear their height issue.
I'm going with Nord. But playing with Bosmer lore in mind. Nord that spent time with them from birth - back story kind of thing.
