Need help finding alchemy ingredients

Post by The Red Robin »

Does anybody know good places to find A LOT of alchemy ingredients (for two ingredient potions)? I have made about 500 potions, and need about 1500 more for 100 Alchemy (I'm about level 60 in Alchemy)

I sort of need more specific locations because the wilderness has a lot of crappy ingredients, I almost always harvest from the Arcane University and use up those ingredients fast, and the only mods I have are KOTN and SI.

Talos Plaza houses. Night time, and sneak through them all, I usually can't even carry everything w/o buffing my Encumb.

Elven Gardens District isn't bad either, and if you can get into the various Guard houses/towers in IC while there aren't guards about to catch you....

What about farms?

Like Shardrock or the one just north of Anvil.

Farms aren't that great compared to what the IC yields. Though not bad if you want to remain "good" I guess.

Oh, and don't forget the basement of that Inn, can't remember which one sorry, but there are a few barrels, and usually you have to jump onto them to get all out, but there's about 20 pumpkins + pears. I'm sure it's Elven, maybe Talos district, and it's not one of the ultra-flash ones.

Wilderness, arcane university, homes in the imperial city, made a ton of money breaking in and stealing food.

You can check each alchemy ingredient page on the Wiki for maps and prime harvesting locations. The most "ingredient rich" area tends to be the West Weald, around Skingrad- personally, I like making feather potions (Flax + SacredLotus) because the ingredients are easy to find (you can get hundreds of flax seeds from the Skingrad roads alone, and Sacred Lotus seeds grow in bulk up and down the Niben) and they actually come in handy, unlike Fatigue potions, which are mainly there to sell or forget about.

You can also cheat and use console codes/ item duping (500 units of ectoplasm? Sure, why not?), but that should be pretty obvious.

The Skingrad vineyards have all the grapes you need. Once you've picked 'em clean, head to the local taverns and inns and buy all their food. And then the baker in Skingrad has tons of bread and wheat.
