100 response npcs & getting kicked out of guilds.
There are some npcs with 100 response.. I cannot be bothered to remind the many hundreds of npcs who have this.. So I killed on and got a bounty. >>
Also, so I killed some random npc out of kvatch and suddenly I lost my arch mage rank! wtf I AM THE ARCHE MAGE!! I dictate the law there! lol like I should go there and kill the lot of those [&@%!].. faux arch mage.. pfft.. no real power.. and those scholars still ignore me..
So yeah a bit of a rant post. I hope someone recognizes themselves in these situations while they play the game.
Rant end..

You're playing the game on a PC. The solution is simple: hack into NORAD, launch the nukes, end the world.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Re: 100 response npcs & getting kicked out of guilds.
Remember the Guild Charter which sets out the rules. Committing a crime against any member of the guild (stealing, assault or murder) will get you suspended from the Guild. It's on a "three strikes and you're out" basis. The first two offenses result in suspension and a Quest to be reinstated. A third offense results in being permanently expelled with NO chance of reinstatement.
If you've reached top rank in the Guild, you're still not "above the law". The first two offenses result in suspensions as normal, but the third offense won't result in either suspension or permanent expulsion. It's "overlooked" because you're the "guy in charge" and you just get the normal Bounty for the crime committed.
Disposition has no bearing on how the game's "legal system" responds to a crime. No-one is "above the law". NPC's with high Responsibility will report the crime whether you're Guild leader or not, and regardless of how high their Disposition is towards you.

But where's the fun in that? I make it a game to see how high I can get my assassin's bounty. I think it was at 15k gold before I lost my save files. Killed most of the guards in Cheydinhal and Bravil. The Black Weasel wrote:Hah! I downloaded a mod that disables bounties. Killed a lot of guards with my Daedric Battleaxe :3

You can commit crimes against the fighters guild if you're the master, without getting kicked out. Same for the dark brotherhood
You will get a bounty though

A bounty is a mark of achievement.

Nice achievement but you cant go to town and buy/sell stuff without having a legion of guards chasing you down..
real nice...
There should be an archive/bounty register where a players bounty is maintained.. So you can raid the place and destroy evidence. And whoo no bounty.. that would be nice.......

That's the point of having a bounty. Being wanted by the guards. The Black Weasel wrote:Nice achievement but you cant go to town and buy/sell stuff without having a legion of guards chasing you down..

I admit that being chased in Bravil for crimes commited in Bruma is silly, but not getting a bounty at all would take all of the fun out of being a criminal for me.
Each to their own I suppose

Well Im a control freak.
So being wanted destroys any control.
meh killing guards in their sleep tends to work most of the time (if they are alone) and you get no bounty. yay

Hay Black Weasel
Know what you mean, do not have cure for everything but if you use Origin of the mages guild the guards will at least call you archmage instead of the arcane universities newest recruit. Assuming you play on the PC and use mods that is
All the best and stick it to the man... no wait, you are the man... dam it, that does not work well does it Archmage
