Ok, so that might have been a little vague. Let me elaborate.
Say I break into someone's house, and stab them to death. Unless i kill them in one hit, I've got a bounty. That's kind of weird - not being caught in the act.. I understand that a guard could come and see me and put one and one together but, if i escape before a guard shows, come on (not to mention guards will get inside a house in like the speed of light, that's ridiculous.. give us time to escape the scene of the crime please). Not only that, but if i kill someone, and a guard comes in, i'll get booked for assault but not murder (i could be wrong, but this is how it is right?). It's like the guard is like, well i HEARD her/him yell/scream, so i know you smacked/stabbed this dead guy/girl, but i don't know it was you that killed them.
Gah. First of all, if i kill someone and escape and no one sees i was there doing the deed, no bounty please. It should be like, you can break into someone's house, but only if they can manage to get outside (them, or anyone else at the house) and tell a guard, will someone come to the rescue.
Also; the way fighting works is weird. Let's say i get [&@%!] off and smack some dude at a tavern. I would like to see the person's response depend on their aggresiveness rating. Someone who's mild-mannered or otherwise cowardly will run to the guards, some people will respond by grabbing a bottle and coming back at you with it. But if you whip out a weapon, all rules are off? Hmm. It's hard to put realism into situations like this. Barfighting, i think, (that's a new feature right?) is going to be... weird IMO.
And what if my wife [&@%!] me off and i smack her? Is a guard going to rush in and be like "Stop!"... Or is she going to put em' up and try to kill me? Haha. (I'd like to see wive's responses depending on the person themselves - such as, some women leaving you immediately, or some calling for help, or some putting up with it, etc. etc.) C'mon please, i reserve the right to be a drunken [&@%!] of a husband
So.... Thoughts?
