Looks like the entire list of achievements have been revealed for those who like the achievement metagame thing. There aren't really any spoilers, but I'll put a warning here anyway because it does seem to have a few quest and location names. Basically they're the same as Fallout 3's achievements. To be fair I warned you. And it doesn't really give away anything about the plot, except the names of some locations which I've already forgotten. If you've read any interview you know the basic plot anyway.

EDIT: Now that I looked at them again; they don't reveal that much. Anyways, if these are real, does that mean we will be able to..
Spoiler:
Join the Imperial Army? I guess you have to pick either them or the Stormcloaks at some point of the story.
And what's this "Circle".. vampires? Dragon slayers?
Spoiler:
From what I understand about it so far is that you'll be able to take sides in the civil war. Since some of Skyrim wants to become independent of the Empire, it seems as though you can join the revolution or join the empire. And I wondered about the "Circle" too. I assumed mages (probably because of Dragon Age) but they have the College of Winterhold for that. We'll have to see!
Cool thanks. I checked out the link, just because I was suspicious that these were legit. Not blaming you, but I just wanted to confirm There was a link to Game Informer with the same list that says:
Game Informer Article wrote:SUPER TINY UPDATE: Kind folks in the comments pointed out that this list has in fact been confirmed by Bethesda via Twitter. I removed "Leaked" from the title and cut out the sentence that was originally here about it not being confirmed. Achievements!
I'm going to look through the comments and see if I can find the Twitter confirmation.
If you can please link me to it. Not that I wouldn't believe you, but of course I'd like to go through the tweets for more info if it's from a developer or something
EDIT:
Oh, it's Pete's! Weird I didn't see that earlier. I occasionally go through his tweets to find new tidbits of info

It would still only be October 25th!
But I agree. This last month is going to be hard. Luckily, I have like 3 concerts coming up before Skyrim is released to ease the pain. And long hours at work to kill time

Lucky you, I had to sacrifice going to my favourite band for the sake of a job in a tiny country in Eastern Europe...So I'll spend my days getting yelled at by old ladies and my nights crying about Skyrim.
I used to make polls, but then I took an arrow in the knee.

My feelings exactly. Well, thank you for the list, Axeforhire!
Oh wow, I thought they would be going the Oblivion way with their achievements for sure. I was hoping they would do it like this though, a few skill based achievements, some for completing quests. They kind of remind me of Fable 3's achievements.
These look great. I used to be a bit of an achievement [&@%!], not really had the time in the last couple of years due to University. I also play most games on the PC now, presumably there will be Steam achievements. This game couldn't come out at a worse time for me. Got huge amounts of course work and five exams to prepare for in November/December.
Do you guys think that the Bleak Falls Barrow quest that we've seen demo'd is part of the main story line?
Thinking back to the earliest write ups when journalists got their first look at the game, i seem to recall that dragon claw quest being given by some random person in a town (presumably riverwood).
Now, looking at how these achievements are ordered, and the points given, it looks like it is part of the main quest line. You have 2 10 point quests, then 5 20 pointers, then a final 50.
I assume "Unbound" is the tutorial, and I'm thinking that Bleak Falls Barrow is a semi-tutorial quest, in that it is easy to find and it is where they want you to find your first dragon word. I'm guessing you are not forced to do that quest to generate the dragons and get things rolling, but of course i have no way of knowing beyond speculation.
Also,
This block seems to not only suggest the opposite of, but in fact destroys, the assumption that we cannot join the empire/rebels and influence things:
* Taking Sides - Join the Stormcloaks or the Imperial Army (10)
* War Hero - Capture Fort Sungard or Fort Greenwall (10)
* Hero of Skyrim - Capture Solitude or Windhelm (30)
That sounds like a really cool line of quests and involves actually shaping the map for one given side or the other

I still hope that the Stormcloaks are the good guys and that the Imperial Army is "evil". The fact that the achievements are called "War Hero" and "Hero of Skyrim" regardless of what you choose seems to suggest otherwise, though.
Pffft, having the choice so simple as good and evil wouldn't be very appealing to me. Things like that are always more interesting when both sides have their points and their faults, and I have to spend forever agonizing over the decision...that statement was kind of masochistic, wasn't it? But yeah, I'd be disappointed if it was just a good and evil thing. That would be boring.

The Thieves Guild is in disoray/a state of debilitation
Imperial Army is the counterpart of the Stromcloaks
Spoiler:
The MQ involves capturing a Fortress, and later a major city
Speechcraft involves persuasion, bribery, and intimidation - somewhat like Morrowind
There are at least 15 Daedric Artifacts, - Oblivion had 15 - probably one for each Prince, although it is likely that 2 Princes will be missing.
@Knight, it has basically been confirmed that neither side is evil. Besides, why should the Empire be 'evil', when the PCs of old have always fought alongside it?
@Chaos, my guess would be similar. Jyggalag and another. I do like the overlapping idea though.
D: What if Sheogorath is the other Prince to get the boot!? Cuz if they cound SI, Sheogorath is no more...well, he is, but it isn't him, it's the PC wearing his name as a title...I'll cry if that's really what happens. I love Sheggie...

Ah, my bad, sorry, I space that stuff out...well, someone already did, so thanks to that person...I'll try to keep a better watch on that stuff next time...

Spoiler:
When I played, when you spoke to any member of the imperial legion, they directed you to Solitude to sign up and a quest named 'Join the Imperial Legion' would start, and visa versa with the stormcloaks. So I think you can join them just like Morrowind.
