Seriously, suicide isn't something you just joke about, and you offered no evidence that it wasn't a joke. If you're really having these thoughts, talk to a guidance counselor or an adult.

Those comments are a little inappropriate. Please think carefully about what you say here. If you are feeling blue, don't be afraid to talk to someone, be it here on the forums or a friend, and if you need help, by good heavens, ask.
And, please, listen to the last few posts and the good advice.
Let's keep this discussion to PM from now on, perhaps.

I won an auction on a bootleg vinyl record... I don't really care that it's a bootleg, the original is worth +800€ and I don't have that kind of money.

Well, I just learned someone who I'll work on a project with, alone, after school, is homicidal. Learning that was the most exciting part of my day.

Homicidal in the "I want to kill you" way, or in the "I want to kill other people" way OR "I want to hurt small puppies"?
I'm not arrogant. I'm insecure.

Like, literally homicidal, as in he's plotting out he's going to do it, or just very, very angry?

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
All of you need to go jogging and then write down a list of 10 things you enjoy about life.
Do it!
Do it!
Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
I'm hoping a quick hop to the stove to have a taste of pie filling counts...
1. Pies. Food in general, actually, because otherwise I'd be writing a list of 100 food things I enjoy about life.
2. Cats are pretty awesome. I like that I live in a cat-filled world.
3. In the morning, the sun shines into my bathroom, making it look warm and inviting. For that reason, I love morning baths.
4. I have an awesome boyfriend (he might be awesomer than cats, I think). He tells me to stay in bed all day if I have a cold or a sore back. Then he brings us take-aways for supper.
5. People are still nice to other people. Random niceness makes me happy, regardless of whether I'm the giver or the receiver.
6. Although I tend to complain about the heat, I love living in SA. We have great weather.
7. I love being able to spend Sundays in my PJs. All day. Then I make breakfast for dinner. With cocoa. It's nice.
8. Having a herb/vegetable patch and growing my own food is fun, and it's amazing to see how quickly things grow.
9. Finally being able to invite my family over. They've all been over for coffee or a meal, and I can invite my brother to stay some weekends.
10. Books. The good, the bad and the ugly of them. There are so many wonderful books out there and I know I'll never run out. That's comforting.
Also. This should be a thread on its own. Absolutely.
And. Today, I watered the plants. Cleaned. Worked twice as long as usual because my boss unintentionally made my job harder by trying to help me out. But I can listen to music while I work, so I don't mind. I also cooked two meals and something for tomorrow.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
In my 3rd hour today, the cute chick who sits in front of me accidentally forgot her purse, so I grabbed it and gave to her. She smiled and said Thank you for returning it to her. I couldn't help but smile at my good deed, and feel my heart go all warm.
Of course I would have done to same to anyone else though, but it was even better for me because she's cute and all...

Yesterday I found The Orange Box really cheap on my way to the bus stop. And today I finished Portal. Guess I'll have to get on HL2 + all the 2 episodes next.

I had some monster tomatoes growing for a while here in Florida. I still have jalepeno's and habaneros, though I don't tend to them much as it's starting to cool down. Peppers grow really well here.

I met Mrs. Texas. In a pizza place in our small nowhere city.
