Shouldnt there be a possibility that your spouse may cheat on you? Not everyone is loyal and if your not keeping your spouse happy.....well...

Re: The Marriage feature
As long as I still get my shepard's pie on the table, I couldn't care less what my spouse gets up to while I'm out hunting dragons. Besides, it's not like the player is going to stay faithful. The Loner wrote:Shouldnt there be a possibility that your spouse may cheat on you? Re: The Marriage feature
Personally, I love Bethy adding this feature. The stress, the drama, its good for an rpg game. For those of you to have never had the "priveledge" of being married, currently or previously, a reason to hold off in real life. Lol
From an rpg perspective it would be great to get dialogue and commentary about your adventures from apersonal standpoint, and not just some citizen or official calling you the Savior of Kvatch (or whatever)
Your spouse may influence your decisions more than previous games have prepared you for.

Re: The Marriage feature
Hell no... If you take them into battle, and they die. They should remain dead. Unless you use save/reload.MasterRokon wrote:They better have it so your spouse just goes unconscious rather than dying and you just going out and replace them.
Don't be so stupid as to take them out into situations they shouldn't be in. You want them alive, leave em home. You like having the risk, take them with you. Unconsciousness can go get F in the A.

Yeah what he/she^ said.
How can Bethy compete with the movie-like drama of BW games if they dont put the PC on the spot in some ways?
Gamers seem to prefer choice but critics/new fans seem to like being forced down a path. Pick your poison.

Re: The Marriage feature
How can I get a legal marriage certificate from a registrar based on a temple marriage certificate without my husband being present ?

Re: The Marriage feature
Who would you have married in Oblivion or Morrowind then? My choice would be Sigrid from Kvatch. She's mage's guild and we both have a place in Kvatch to call home. There is an NPC Dunmer in Kvatch rebuilt that might serve as a good mistress if it doesn't work out. Haven't really played enough Morrowind to know there.
