So then let's keep it alive! I'm currently rocking out to... THE WORST CRAP I'VE EVER HEARD WTH?!?! French numetal. Spot o' advice? Don't click random links on Youtube. And if your game is to listen to every music video you click on, irregardless of how crap it is, don't play that game. This is torture.
Screw this, I'm going back to Alizee.

Shoot son, gramer ain't no thang. Irregardless, we be on the internet, as long as you may understands what is said, it's all nice. Communication is key; ain't nothin' else language is 'fore! As long as you git r done, and the homies ken the sense of ya, "rules" are a moot point. And times? They does has been changing! Old forms and usage styles is all crumbling 'afore the march of the New Order; "grammar policing" is a relic of the past, a losing batle to keep language in a cage, when language refuses to be chained!Esvedium wrote:Must...DorostheConqueror wrote:irregardless

Mark my words: within a century, two at the most, serious people will be yelling at each other for "not properly conjugating the verb pwn", "single negative use", and "!-un-1mpr0p3r usag3 of v0w3ls wh3n numb4z do just 4s 1337."

Anyhow whats to say that irregardless won't be added as a word to the Oxford dictionary if it is used enough and it integrates into the language then it becomes a part of the language.Esvedium wrote:Must...DorostheConqueror wrote:irregardless

HAH I spoke to soon it IS a word:
Oxford Dictionary wrote: irregardless
• adjective & adverb informal regardless.
— ORIGIN probably a blend of IRRESPECTIVE and REGARDLESS.

Yeah, it's a word- it's been a word for quite awhile! Almost a century, in fact. And no less a person than Ezra Pound has used it, so if EP says it's kosher, it is.Daedra Prince wrote:Anyhow whats to say that irregardless won't be added as a word to the Oxford dictionary if it is used enough and it integrates into the language then it becomes a part of the language.Esvedium wrote:Must...DorostheConqueror wrote:irregardless

Dare you argue with the Godfather of 20th century English lit?! Fools! Prostrate yourselves before the awful majesty of Irregardless!
