What did you do on Morrowind today?
So, Oblivion has this thread, but I don't think Morrowind does. So, what did you do on Morrowind today?
Me: I explored some Daedric ruins and went on killing sprees with netches.

Re: What did you do on Morrowind today?
Well it was not really today, but last time I played Morrowind... Thing is I completed every quest I could and that leaved me pretty pointless. My character went insane because there was nothing left to do and it started exterminating the cities. I'm concerned that now only the guards are left and there was a game I liked to play with the Ald'ruhn guard squad called "Last Man standing". Sadly for them so far everytime I was the winner haha.
Re: What did you do on Morrowind today?
After tweaking out the Morrowind Graphics and Sound Overhaul (note: I couldn't make this work until I overclocked my processor. It's an Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane core that ran at 2.6 Ghz but I've got it up to 3.125 Ghz now.) I decided to rerun my epic "100's in all attributes in 50 Lup's and <50 days" saga with a few modifications.
So today I was running up to the Urshilaku to present myself for inspection. Running right on schedule.
Somebody gave me an idea on my thread about this saga. I'm thinking of ways to shorten the story by ten days, same goals, different skills set. (Use the Bitter Cup)

Re: What did you do on Morrowind today?
I found some nice Daedric/Dwemer (bit of both) ruins with some nice loot in it.
Called Baranem or something like that, Daedric Spear, dagger and a couple of arrows.
Makes me a very rich, very happy Imperial

You mean Berandas, the Dunmer stronghold?
Re: What did you do on Morrowind today?
Yeah that must be Berendas. Boots of the Apostle are there as well as a prisoner that needs a scroll to escape.Believe wrote:I found some nice Daedric/Dwemer (bit of both) ruins with some nice loot in it.

Yup that was the place, I just couldn't remember the name of it.
I found the boot's, turned invisible to get past the Winged Twilight's, then had to give that woman my last DI scroll
Then when I re-called I ended up in the Hlaalu Underworks..... Miles away from anywhere I actually wanted to be.

I hate when that happens lol. Fun to explore though on the 1,000,000 mile walks.Believe wrote:

Re: What did you do on Morrowind today?
I'm attempting to play through the game with my first "efficient leveler" by planning ahead of time to ensure that I get three x5 modifiers per level-up. However, this seriously taking the fun out of the game, and the excitement I had to play it again is beginning to diminish.
I'm reconsidering whether or not it's even worth stressing over. My characters have always wound up indestructible in the past, and I didn't have to plan out every level.

I did the first bunch of Legion quests you get in Gnisis, then decided to explore the entire Grazelands area.
Prettiest place in the game IMO

Committed a massacre at the Balmora council club, which basically wraps up 5-6 quests in one.

No, I've never managed to discover that little place. I don't really go out of my way looking for it, I just ran round looking at the scenery and soultrapping all the little beasties to enchant my stash of papersaddictedtomorrowind wrote:Did you see the part where creatures spawn 2x size?Believe wrote:I did the first bunch of Legion quests you get in Gnisis, then decided to explore the entire Grazelands area.

Aw, you should really go to that place. I love making it look like my character is about to get eaten or is hidden from view because of the giant Ogrim or something.Believe wrote:No, I've never managed to discover that little place. Re: What did you do on Morrowind today?
I ran around Balmora in the nude shooting fireballs at people.
Twas a Morrowind Mardi Gras
But when I tried to get away I accidentally drowned myself..
On my higher level character, I explored Azura's Coast and did her quest. Now I'm thinking bout an expedition from Molag Mar, aaaaallllll the way up to the Zainab Camp.

Today, I went to a Molag Bal shrine and shot tons of fireballs at... where it hurts most.

I started the Redoran Hortator quest. The Fourth and Fifth Trials are pretty boring.
Edit: Today I finished Redoran and Hlaalu Hortator quests.

Re: What did you do on Morrowind today?
To celebrate finally getting the game all working on my new PC, after a prolonged period of not playing it/playing it on my old PC, I decided to start afresh and so I created a new Dunmer, using the Dunmeri Warrior class I posted here.
I had a nice long session, joining the Fighters and Mages Guild, and completing the first two Balmora Fighters Guild quests and all of Ajira's quests. I then headed off to Mournhold to join House Indoril (using the Great House Indoril Beta Mod), and I completed the first two quests.
First, I was tasked with slaying a false prophet in Gnisis, and then I was charged with convincing a former Councilman to rejoin the Council, winning his support by slaying Hlaalu Nobleman, Ondres Nerano.

Duruza, that must be conflicting.... Killing a Hlaalu noble... I think I can understand but it must have been painful to watch Ondres die...

The man called a hit on the former Duke of Vvardenfell, the son of the man I was trying to persuade to rejoin the Council.
