Re: So what did you do on Oblivion today?
Today my Khajiit assassin N'Ghasta was paying a visit to The Shivering Isles on a quest to replace the duke of Mania. Now keep in my that this deadly little kitty is very fond of all the various drugs and alcohol found in Cyrodiil and The Shivering Isles (especially Tamika's Vintage 399, and the always decadent skoooooooma). He had just received word of a special location of the very potent drug known as Greenmote, but seeing as how Thadon's disgusting Argonian servant was keeping her scaly mouth shut on the location, he decided he would have to follow her, and follow her he did. After a short (and remarkably unhidden) walk outside the palace N'Ghasta had at last found the hidden location where the duke had kept his gargantuan supply of said narcotic. Using the skills he had been bred to utilize as a kitten, N'Ghasta stealthily crept behind Wide-Eye as she made her way to the immense mound of Greenmote, once they had reached the darkly lit room where the drug was kept in abundance, he hid behind one of the pillars surrounding the pile and once the coast was clear, N'Ghasta, without shame began stuffing his pockets with as much Greenmote as possible. Well it is no secret that the Khajiits are not known for their strength, and he soon felt the heavy burden of over-encumbrance. But alas, he thought to himself "I made it this far, and I'm not leaving with 10 lousy samples. My pockets are full... but my hands are empty..." he pondered. After a short time reviewing his options he decided the best course of action would be to manually carry as much of the drug as possible, and that he did. As he plunged his hands into the pile over and over again he had decided that if he didn't stop now (being the addict that he is) he would never allow himself to leave, and with a smile as wide as the horizon he lifted the enormous chunk and bolted for the door. "Halt mortal! That pile is not for community use... come to think of it how did you even get in here!?" A golden saint yelled with her sword drawn, ready for battle. As quickly as they discovered him he had already made it to he ladder and reached the surface. Greenmote in hand (literally, it would not fit in my inventory) N'Ghasta made his long and perilous journey pack to the door into Cyrodiil. It was about halfway down the road when he say 5 glints of silver in the distance, being as curious as a cat can be (despite the heavy heavy load he was carrying) he decided to venture toward the mysterious objects. When he got close enough, to his surprise these shiny glints of silver were not objects, nor were they silver, but they were the Knights of Order that he had been warned about since he had began his quest to stop the Greymarch. Not looking for a fight, he made his way around a hill, evading the knights and continuing on his journey. His path beyond then was filled with many many more knights he was forced to beat to death using the ancient martial art Rawlith Khaj and after more and more various enemies were drawn to his presence, he hightailed it out of harms way and finally reached the blue glowing portal into Cyrodiil. After saying hello to the fellow Khajiit lurking outside the doorway to the Shivering Isles he jumped into the Niben bay and swam to bravil, where he he met up with Nordinor and bought his daily 5 bottles of Skooma, and headed towards his shack. Upon entry he set down the exausting load of his chest, and indulged him self with the rest of the Skooma, and two portions of Felldew as well as 2 portions of his beloved Greenmote. High as a levitating Telvannia wizard, he sat down on his trusty wooden chair and read the rest of Immortal Blood (being a vampire and all... oh yeah he's a vampire) then retired to his warm comfy bed to dream of the sandy dunes of Elsweyr.

Re: So what did you do on Oblivion today?
I finally got to play Oblivion again after about 2 weeks of not being able to touch it due to the extreme business I am experiencing.
I reached Level 20, I finally bought the last two upgrades for Rosethron. I did the Namira Shrine quest and I did a fair bit of dungeon delving and looting, particularly in the Cursed Mine.
Finally, I did the first Gray Fox quest, Turning a Blind Eye, and begun the next.

I dragged Agnar all the way to Dive Rock (I have a mod that lets you pick bodies up instead of just dragging them), waited a week for the fog to clear (literally), and then chucked him over the edge.

I just got through the Sewers again
... now I need to decide what I will send into Cyrodil...
My Skyrim character:
Spoiler:
Re: So what did you do on Oblivion today?
My female sorceress did several fighter's guild quests, more for fun than anything else. She will soon find that killing goblins and mountain lions is not the most satisfying occupation and high-tail it to the Mages Guild, which serves better food on the table anyway. Unable to decide between the fineries of the Shivering Isles or the high fashions of the Empire she changes dresses in caves in between electrocuting goblins and tries not to to shiver under her summoned Golden Saint''s broad smile...She spends most of her time in her royal regalia from the court of madness, because it seems embroidered by a very emphatically insane tailor who had often heard paisely described but had never seen it. Probably was high while he made it, too.

Was making my way through an Oblivion world, and took a hasty bow shot at a Scamp. Missed the Scamp, but hit the bouncing-betty land mine next to him, which exploded and killed him. I had no idea that you could destroy the mines with arrows.

Tried to walk to Leyawiin from Skingrad to join the Blackwood company. On my way there I found Ceyatatar. I cleared it and went back to sell most of the loot. So I have to try again today to visit Leyawiin and hope I don't find to many interesting locations

Went to the Shivering Isles, took off my armor, put away my weapon, and started punching the gate keeper. And knocked him unconscious.

I cleared a couple caves to help pay of my 40k bounty. (a bit troublesome because I keep using my gold on shooma if you know what I mean) >.< Currently hiding in applewatch after closing that pesky oblivion gate outside... Hopefully I will be able to get rid of that bounty by tomorrow!

I went to the Anvil Fighter's Guild, and slept for a while. When I woke up, Huurwen was lying dead on a stool. She was alive before I went to sleep. Her sword was sheathed, and nothing else was different. I left Anvil rather quickly.

Re: So what did you do on Oblivion today?
I started selling off what I call my "Legion Loot"
Basically I get a 5 gold bounty somewhere in the IC, then run from wherever I am, to my house in the waterfront.
Then I go inside, and proceed to kill anything that follows me.
So far I've made 9 trips to Rohssans and I still have 28 full sets of Legion armour to go.

Re: So what did you do on Oblivion today?
I have accidentally oversaved my mage's savgame
But I'm not totally dumb and I have second (backup) save from the same level of the same character (and even from the same place
).
Next thing I've done is saving Farwil from Oblivion gate with my melee character. This character was created for only one thing - to run through game to its end. I have never played Oblivion to its end, so this character has to do it - before Skyrim comes out and I will buy it. Which will be... unfortunately at 11. 11. 11

I have just cleared out 'Toadstools Hollow' and found a dead goblin sat in a barrel with a bottle of beer in his hand.

Re: So what did you do on Oblivion today?
Finished the Arena questline, got up to Protector in the FG, did Meridia's quest annnnddd.....
ummm, cleared out a couple of caves/towers/ayleid ruins.
I'm trying to do the collector quest without using the wiki to check which ruins I need.
Also did cure for vampirism. Which I hate.
