I wonder what happened this time... Maybe Notch just programs Servers to automatically bug out every now and then.

AKB, I'm not entirely sure about this, but the server crashes whenever you're online, and I'm fairly sure it either has to do with my bandwidth at the moment, or your connection.

We should have someone else try to connect to confirm this. But until then, I'm going to assume it's those EXP orbs that have gotten littered everywhere over time. I'll avoid the server all the same due to the possibility it's my fault for now.

Well, to be perfectly honest, it's most likely my router, which has been really bad overall lately, even with normal internet.
Also, I used different software that was supposed to clear out all the exp orbs in the world, but I'm doubting it actually worked.

I thought they couldn't mess with player-placed blocks.

The Enderman's ability to pick up blocks is not only useless but game-breaking. At least with the creeper it's the player's fault if blocks get messed up. Endermen just destroy blocks randomly.

its not useless, they destoy your strucures thats what they are sopouse to do, sure they pik up other blocks to but it makes it where you cant just bbuild a wall and hide in there forever never worrying about creatures

which is weird cause i thgout they could not pick them up, yet they mess with walls, maybe there is a certing rule?

I think blocks like redstone, slabs or other crafted blocks cant be picked up by Endermen. But if you playe naturaly found blocks like dirt, stone or stone bricks (yes they pick them up) they will pick them up and plce them randomly later. Anyone else getting a crazy amount of sheep and very few pigs, cows and ducks/chickens?

I think the spawning is now biome related. In the swamp one there were only sheep. (weird isn't it? But in other biomes there were more cows and pigs. (they are still rare)

So I am currently learning about note blocks and to do this I am recreating a song. It's fun, but hard. I'm doing it in Creative mode since I accidentally upgraded, but I want to transfer it over to the server I play on, which is gonna take a LOT of wood and redstone. Fun.

I'm hoping I can figure out how to record Minecraft so I can upload my finished product to Youtube, since I don't see the song I am doing on there. Would be cool to have an original video on Youtube like that.

Try Fraps or Cam Studio.
If you want more of an in-game immersed video, go with Fraps.

I'm gonna try Fraps but I know the free version only runs for 30 seconds, so that might be a problem. I know I could buy the full version, but I won't be doing enough recording to make it worth it. Do you know of any free software that works really well.

It's my understanding though that the Free Version of Fraps only records for 30 seconds, and in order to record longer, you need to buy the full version? Or maybe the free version is just limited in some other way?

If you just go to the download page, it doesn't mention anything about the software recording for only 30 seconds.
But, I see what it might mean. Sometimes it takes 30 seconds of video, stops, then you have to press a button to make it record again. I think.

Yeah, I just tested it out, it only records for 30 seconds at a time. Convenient for little quick tidbits, but not for showcasing a whole song haha. At least my song is only like 12 seconds long so it fits into the 30 second range well enough. I'm gonna upload it to YouTube, then share it here.

Try Bandicam, i've started using it instead of FRAPS and from what I can see the quality is perhaps a tiny bit less but you get way more settings and the free version records for 10 minutes instead of 30 seconds.

But really I think that Bandicam free version > FRAPS free version although FRAPS paid version > Bandicam paid version.
Is this meant to be witty, informative or deep? I doubt I can manage all three.

I had tried Bandicam, but for some reason, YouTube didn't recognize the file format or whatever. I'm not sure. It might be something to play around with in the future. Do you record Minecraft vids?
