Competition of the Month - October Suggestions

So we are not getting a late start, lets get the ideas out there before October actually starts, so things can get done on time.

Although, I am sort of getting the feeling that the Monthly Competitions are starting to lose members interests.

I am not trying to take over the lead on this, but we sort of need to decide if we still want to do this. Waiting until the middle of the month to get things started is not really a good idea.

Soooooo... if we are wanting to do one for October, lets get the ideas out there, so we can get the gears rolling.

I believe someone mentioned a horror theme (writing/photography was the actual suggestion; on another UESP-member run forum), but it could be any kind of medium really

I believe art and Great Houses (And, sorry Scozzar, my opinion music will fit into this category) only hold a minority of the forum goers' interests, therefore the recent competitions have been inactive.

Thanks peoples, we have two suggestions:

1) Horror Theme (writing/photography)
2) Music

Seems like with School Starting, the forums are a bit slower during the week. I will wait until Monday, and then start a poll including all suggestions. This way it can run a week for votings.

@ Chaos: Do we want one winner, or two: a Writing and a Photo Winner?

@ Scozzar: Do we want a theme for the Music (TES), or any piece of Music?

I suggest turning a quest of the participant's choice from any ES game into a piece of writing.

Again, I am not trying to run this. I am just trying to get the ideas ready for October.

If anyone wants to be the Guest Host for the October Competition, until Avron gets back in November, send her a PM.

We have 6 more days to go, before a vote. A voting poll will be made on Monday, 26 September, and run until Friday, 30 September. We currently have the following suggestions:

1) Horror Theme (writing/photography)
2) Music
3) Turning a quest of the participant's choice from any ES game into a piece of writing.

So far of the three options I think I like the third the best, a photo theme was suggested before by someone, I cannot remember who, that might also be an idea, if not for now, for later.

Just a reminder: Suggestions will close on Monday morning (US Mountain Time), and a Poll will be started which will include all suggestions. If you have an idea for a Competition of the Month, you have this weekend to get it in.

Any suggestions will be considered by a poll vote. We currently have the following suggestions:

1) Horror Theme (writing & photography/art) - Two Winners
2) Music
3) Turning a quest of the participant's choice from any ES game into a piece of writing.

It is to late to make any further suggestions for October, as adding any new options to the poll will reset the Poll.

If you have any other Ideas/suggestions, they will have to wait until November.
