Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
I dont want the game to have these game-breaking bugs like Oblivion or Fallout. I remember some time after i bought Oblivion i decided to get windows Vista. There was a Vista-only bug where you couldnt save your game (which was patched later). I could play the game but was like super mega hardcore mode. I only finished oblivion after upgrading to Win7. Then Fallout had a similar bug but with Win7!!! I keep my old Pc with Win XP , my laptop with Vista and my gaming Pc with Win7 just in case. Hopefully Skyrim will run on at least one version of Windows.

All of the guards shouting "Halt!" every seven seconds.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Doesn't matter what i wouldn't want in Skyrim now, they've pretty much finalised everything.

Not to bring any more negativity into this thread, but one thing I just realized I really don't want in Skyrim ...is Skyrim's HUD D:
"Humanity? I don't see humanity anywhere, Otsdarva."
Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
You can remove it. It will be optional.

Yeah, I know... but I don't like that either :[POMC S117 wrote:You can remove it. It will be optional.
Sigh- I know this is going to sound like Morrowind fanboyism, but I prefered the stacked bars in a corner, with the tiled Active Effects icons. Just looked so friggin' cool. And the absence of those AE icons was my one (and only, actually) true complaint about Oblivion's HUD.
...Skyrim's has actually managed to get worse imo

Like nasty dragons, killing, violence, fire, killy magic, sharp edged weapons, all weapons for that matter, nasty wolves or baddies in the forests or on the roads, scary dungeons. Spiders. Theivery. The ability to kill or maim in any way, or the possibility of your character being harmed in game. Ugly orcs and walking, talking, disgusting cats and newts. I wouldn't get Skyrim if such horrible concepts were in it.born2beagator wrote:bad stuffPOMC S117 wrote:What, in your opinion, constitutes to a bad thing.

Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
What don't I want in Skyrim? A broken leveling system, unrealistic NPC voice acting, a cluttered inventory screen, boring factions, boring quests, dungeons that all look the same, can I just say I don't want Oblivion to be in Skyrim and make this post short?

Ugly Bosmer.
Oh wait.... D:
On a more serious note, I don't want dragons to be like cliffracers. I only got annoyed with them in Morrowind once I hit about level 12 to 15 on the first playthrough. They weren't challenging, just irritating.
No annoying dragon swarms.

Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
I highly hope dragons are not like clif racers in that they will be weak by lv 11
a swarm of them would not be anoying but rather scared the heck out of me
be like this
"Help us we are atacked by dragons"
"Dragons? psh I've killed like thirty"
"Good then you can double your count here they come, wait where are you going?!?!?!?!"

Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
i want the main quest to feel less urgent. like in oblivion you felt like you needed to deliver that friggin amulet. like if the quest developed slowly and then eventually you kinda figure out whats really going on.

levelled daedric quests, or any quests for that matter. If I can't beat it, I'll come back when I feel like I'm able to beat it, I don't want to wait till I'm level 20 before I'm allowed to capture umbra, when I am able to do so at level 5.
