rough leather armor

The armor page says that a full set of rough leather armor does not exist in-game. I started a new game yesterday, and finished the tutorial with a full set. I have SI and all DLCs installed, the latest official patch, and the UOP/USIP/UOMP/UOPS. Which items are not supposed to exist in-game, and which patch added them?

I'm fairly sure there is no Rough Leather Helmet... or bracers. Or, for that matter, Gauntlets.

The Armour page lists all but Greaves as being available in the Rough Leather Material, so perhaps one of the Unofficial Patches rounds out the set?

Ah. I'll leave now. I haven't played in ages, so I'm useless. Oh, and may I ask where you find the gauntlets, if you know? I collect stuff.

I believe the tutorial is the only place to acquire such loot in the vanilla game.

According to the Wiki, Rough Leather (and Rusty Iron) armor are only found in the opening tutorial. In the basic vanilla game, only boots, cuirass, gauntlets, helmet and shield are available in Rough Leather, (no greaves), while Rusty Iron offers the cuirass, gauntlets, greaves, helmet and shield (no boots).

By using Wiki and Google you should be able to determine which mods or patches added the missing items.

When it comes to the tutorial dungeon, the one thing I regret having never kept on my character is the Rusty Iron Bow— the Rough Leather and Rusty Iron armors have absolutely no use to me.

The Rusty Iron Bow, on the other hand, would serve nicely as a Command Humanoid/Creature bow that I would use to 'sting' an enemy and turn them against their friends. The idea, of course, is to use the weakest bow possible so that your converted enemy is healthy enough to battle all your foes.

Yes, I know that you can enchant the Replica Dwarven Bow in Bravil to get the same result (you knew that too, no?) but that bow breaks after one shot— I want a repeater.

I couldn't find any documentation of mods adding Rough Leather Armor Greaves to the game. And the UOP documentation doesn't seem to show that they added it either. Are you sure that you have that piece of the set dm3588?

The Unofficial Patch Supplementals adds Rough Leather Greaves, Rough Leather Gauntlets and a Rough Leather Helmet to the tutorial skeleton. It also adds Rusty Iron Gauntlets to the chest with iron gear.
