Re: How many Hours?
Well over 1500 hours for me.
1200 of them should be recorded by Xfire, the rest happened before I started using Xfire and after I stopped using it.

Re: How many Hours?
Around 200 on the pc am around 300 on 360. So I'd say 500+ hours.
Weird thing is I'm not even ashamed to say that.
In fact I'm going for much more

Re: How many Hours?
The amount is unfathomable, I simply have no idea. I had around 450 hrs on my first character and an my second was way over that (probably in quadruple digit range), I've had many character since then...
Still doesn't compare to my Morrowind characters...which are spread across both my xbox and PC...

Re: How many Hours?
probs 150 on first char then 5-20 hours each on about ~10 diff chars currently at around 20 on my current one, although i'm liking her atm so she might hit 150+ unless my bug doesnt fix itself.
so i'd say 300-400 hours.
so i'd say 300-400 hours.

Love your walls of text H8Ball. Really fun to read. Welcome back!H8Ball wrote:My last playthrough was approaching 600 hours (over nearly 2.5 years on and off) when I decided it was getting too boring being a Level 42 "superman" who could drill enemies clean through by farting in their general direction. I was hankering for the old days when I used to be a 7-stone weakling, so I restarted with a new character designed to be as wimpy as possible, with OOO installed to get rid of the "nursemaiding" effect where the game never throws enemies at you too difficult to handle.
I've just achieved Level 8 again and, believe me, it's been a wild ride getting there! OOO makes Oblivion much more Morrowind-like with some dungeons being LETHAL until you level up sufficiently, and throws occasional HARD enemies at you, even at Level 1. For example, I saw my first Land Dreugh at Level 2, first Minotaur at Level 5, and the Gargoyles (a type of super-Imp) are TOUGH! Up to Level 4, I had to stick to the roads tagging along behind mounted Legion Soldiers for protection. Yep. That's the reason Bethesda had them patrolling the roads, and now they're actually NEEDED!
Since I bought the game 5 years ago, this is my third character and I've only finished the Main Quest once. Total gameplay time is probably around 850 hours. I mean, 600 hours and maybe about 50% completion? Now THAT's replayability! Most action games deliver about 30 hours gameplay but you're "on rails" along for the ride and then the game gets shelved until you "forget" how the journey goes. Unfortunately, I have a good memory, so subsequent "journeys" never live up to the excitement of that first-time train-ride when the "scenery" was NEW to me. Morrowind and Oblivion deliver 100's of hours because you're NOT "on rails". You have the freedom to explore, do what you want, when you want and for as long as you want. You can roleplay your character, hunt Deer, go dungeon delving, collect weapons/armour, go on Alchemy ingredient collecting expeditions, etc. YOU create your own variety of experiences, so the game never gets boring. For me, that's the appeal of the Elder Scrolls series of RPG's that keeps me coming back for more.
Apologies for being off-line for a week, folks. My ADSL Router died on me and I've just had a new one delivered today. Yay! Back on broadband again!

Re: How many Hours?
I'm now on my third character since 2006 when the game was released and I snapped it up. Yeah, I like to play long-term with each character to see how they turn out. Not sure but I must be approaching 900mph, maybe 1000mph (er, that's not mph = miles per hour, but mph = magical play hours). Try to get THAT kind of long-term playability out of an action game! Can't wait to see if they raise the bar with Skyrim. If they do, I'll raise my glass back at the barman raising the bar!
There you go. That's NOT a wall of text too high to jump over. It's a low garden wall. Just watch out for the 100ft deep Ho-Ho on the other side.

Re: How many Hours?
Steam says 280 hours. Probably about 1/3 of that was my main, another third are sort of concept characters (ones that were based around an idea that never got anywhere), and the last third are characters I made to explore guilds and factions that would not make sense for my main to join.

Re: How many Hours?
i have so far 9 charactors spread across 2 gamertags.
each with between 100-200 hours.
my main charactor (dark elf) has around 200+ maybe 210 or something.
my 2nd main (redguard) has like 160 or something.
the rest are hovering around the 100 hour marks.
