Khajiit. Because they are fluffy adorable little kitties. Nufsaid.

Then maybe a Nord, Imperial or Breton. For a more human look.

I'll play as an Argonian and as a Dark Elf, and I might try out a Nord just to get into the spirit of things.

Nahh... Well. I really don't know. First of all I might settle for something new one of the races I haven't played in previous ES games which would be: Breton, Imperial, Altmer, Dunmer, Orc, Argonian. Then again I'd like to create a good first character which will not just be a blend of a warrior/mage/thief battle master overpowered dude who leads every faction. I figured I'd play different races for each faction - this time around I do not want my character to be the head of all guilds (also, isn't this impossible in Skyrim? Or am I wrong?) so probably something like this:

Might: Orc/Nord
Magic: Argonian/Breton/Dunmer
Stealth:Wood Elf/Dunmer/Khajiit/Argonian

the / would of course mean "or" and not that I want to play some half-blooded race, lol (the stealth character would look funny if that was the case, though

).

I had in mind creating an "Argonian Shaman" wielding destruction spells and huge weapons or perhaps dual wield weapons or something... I haven't planned all the details yet.

So it's really difficult for me to say, which race I'll play first. I am not even sure that I'm going to complete the main quest first.

my first player race wil be imperial. i have a dude from oblivion that im gonna roleplay onwards in skyrim and he is an imperial:)

I am Breton all the way. You get the amazing magicka might minus the horrible weaknesses of the altmer. Plus they sound an look badass

Altmer mage as always

Altmer and Bretons make the most talented mages, and Altmer just have that stereotypical 'flighty, [&@%!], oh-so-superior' thing that I love to imagine in a sheltered mage. Oh yes and they look great XD

Thank the Nine all the races are present, I tell you. I thought we might be forced to play as Nords for the storyline (like how we had to play humans in DA2 T_T And I was so looking forward to playing an elf mage!), which kept me up at night XD

First character, most probably a Breton shield+sword -style warrior, as with Oblivion. The rest characters are designed afterwards.

Can't... Decide... The redguards look awesome, the argonians look awesome, the dunmer, nords, orcs and khajiits aswell.
All I know is that it won't be a breton, imperial or high elf.

Redgaurds are almost the same as Nords, stat wise. (a few minor differences) But still nobody picks em.

When I first played Morrowind I started with redguard and played it through some 300 hours... then when I started oblivion I chose redguard, but started over after an hour or so cuz I wanted to try playing a kitty.

Well, from "classical warrior races" (Nord, Orc, Redguard), Redguards are my favorites, and thought I probably first try the game with a Breton, it is more than probable that at least one of the next characters will be Redguard.

personaly i look more like an argonian than a blackman

no i will most likely play as a redguard in my second playthrough i like their lore and they look badass in skyrim

I'm a huge fan of the Warhammer race: Lizardmen so now that the Argonians actually look amazing, how can I not? He'll be a shaman without a shadow of doubt.
Afterwards I'll probably be torn between making a classic Nord warrior or a warlock/melee hybrid Dunmer (Malekith).
I'd also love to make a magic/stealth hybrid Khajiit.
I have to make a magic exclusive Altmer at some point and a ranger Bosmer is also a must.
