Noble quest

Post by Sapphon »

Hi all. I got given a quest by the Count of a town to escort his younger brother to another town, but when I got near the town, he just left and found his own way. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

I didn't get paid and the Count said that I was incompetent for being unable to escort him myself.

This is just a guess, as I have never played arena. Most quests of this nature that I've played in Morrowind and Oblivion require you to talk to the person you escorted after they have arrived at their destination. Like I said just a guess.

Hi!
Say, did you use the fast traveling option?
I`ve got no problems with these quests! Simply get out of the palace, press Shift-M (so that the travling map appears), select the correct country and town, travel there. Then find the proper destination by asking a resident (perhaps you have to rest for some hours, because its night when you arrive, but that should not matter). After going there you only have to speak with the innkeeper/smith/king or whoever is the chief there and the whole quest is eaten...
I think, your protégé only tries to find his own way, if you are not fast enough. But that shouldn´t be the case with the fast travel...

Thats probably because you failed to bring him there in time.

First off, Welcome to the UESP forums; secondly be kind and check the dates of the last post in a thread. Your post was your first here and that is fine but there have been many months passed since anyone posted to this thread. Either the original poster found the answer they were looking for or they didn't care anymore. Feel free to add some new content though!
