I have a fine steel longsword [despite dmg, I like the looks] with a 10 pt shock enchant for 2 seconds that I named 'Sturm Stahl'.

I think the names of everything tend to sound better in German.

Most of my weapons names are stupid.
The only one that I believe it's cool is a Daedric Dagger called "Pestilence".

If that were true, German would be the language of Rock & Roll. You'll notice it isn't.

I still think it would be a lot better if it was, I always favoured german rock...

But for something on topic, I have another elven shortswrod called hadhafang just for the fun of it.

According to the Google translator, 'Dark Spark' is 'Dunkle Funke'.
So— no.

Still, I cannot fault you for choosing the look of a weapon over its fundamental stats. My assassin's preferred combat arms are plain Steel— it's quiet and unassuming in its motif.

With Ebony weapons and the like, your enemies simply die too quickly. Where's the fun in that?
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

It's all a matter of perception! I think Dunkle Funke is much better... almost jazzy!

Hmmm, Google Translate is prone to a lot of misspelling. From what I remember, it should be Dunkel Funke. That's actually a very cool name. It's also quite cute in the diminutive form: Dunkel Funkchen.

Böse means to be angry, not to be evil.

Böse means to be angry, not to be evil.
To my knowledge it's used for like, 'bad'. Something you'd say to a misbehaved child or pet or something. "Evil," AFAIK, could even be demonstrated with "schwarze," even though it's lit. "black". The culture matters a lot when looking for words like that.
I took two semesters of German, and I definitely like a lot of it. Many words, like "Herzlos," "Hoffnung," Hell, even "zwei," sound friggin' awesome to me.
A lot of it also sounds really funny to me too though. (dunkle funkie) sounds hilarious, but it's easy to butcher the words and pronounce them that way and with that preconceived silliness, because the words to a non-German are only sounds -- they have no intrinsic emotional value.

On that note, I did once create a daedric claymore that I did call Herzlos. Pretty sure it was just Fire/Weaness to Fire/ Soultrap, though.

Thunderbolt - Dwarven Shortsword with 20pts shock damage on strike. I made it at level 10 and was surprised at the magnitude of the offensive enchantment in the sigil stone I acquired. Turned out it's a glitch. The subjacent sigil stone offers more shock damage than the more powerful latent sigil stone.

Dragon's tooth - Elven Longsword with 15pts fire damage on strike. Enchanted with latent sigil stone.

Oh btw, as the name might state, it does Light your opponent for 15 seconds I thought...

I found it useful for cave fighting, since I prefer wearing a shield instead of a torch all the time  .
