I wanted to have an Argonian as my first playthrough, and therefore what I'd consider my main one, as the first experience of the game is always the one that sticks with you, just to change it up a bit. I've only really played a whole way through as a Dunmer before. And in thinking about it, I think it will have some interesting elements to it. For starters, the Args aren't loved in Skyrim, or anywhere really, so the fact that the only one that can save the day is an Arg will have some good bits of tension and the like. And I think it ties in with the whole connection to the dragons and that, for aesthetic reasons. In the end they'll probably work it so that each race is equally as compatible with the whole concept. It doesn't really matter anyway, they were the chosen one to carry out the mission and that's that, their race doesn't really need to factor into it.

No race is unfitting. The Dragonborn has the soul of a dragon granted to him by the gods. At least in Cyrodiil there is at least one of each race that worships these gods.

I'm with mars on this I think any race or sex is fitting as Dragonborn.

I've gone with Wood Elves. They look better in Skyrim, but in previous games they were thieving cowards with annoying voices. And there was Fargoth.

I did expect Argonians to take the lead but I really didn't think the Altmer would take the second place. I thought that'd fall to the Khajiit or the Bosmer.

I was kind of expecting Argonians to take the lead with one of the Mer taking second...

What I wasn't expecting was for there to be more votes for Imperials than Bretons....or no votes at all for the Bretons, I was expecting a borderline racist post on how they're prissy little wimps...

No complaints though, I like Bretons
