"Hmm." Ashriel said. "I'm not sure what I did say about you. Unless you refresh my memory, I have no idea what you're talking about." Ashriel frowned.

"Are you mocking me?" Hremai said, voice eerily calm.

"Well, then," Hremai said. "Don't say you didn't have this coming."

She proceeded to simply smack her knee upwards into his groin.
Spoiler:
I warned ya! I warned ya! You're all gonna die!!!!

But seriously. I've been wanting to do that for a very long time.

Ashriel gritted his teeth and smiled, but the cheerfulness did not reach his eyes, like it usually did.

"Think... that's hard?" Ashriel managed to groan. "Think: Me, as a kid, in a Frost Elf school. Yeah, I've had worse." He got out. "Just remember: I don't play to get even. I play to win. Horny."

Ashriel shrugged. If you have talent, might as well use it... He waved his hand and Hremai's hair lit on fire.

Hremai, surprised by the retribution, immediately dived headfirst into the hole she'd been sitting in the night before. The hole, which was now half filled with snow, wasn't deep, however, and a resounding thump could be heard soon afterwards. Another few seconds afterwards Hremai poked her head back up, hair doused by the snow, and looking extremely [&@%!] off.

"You son of a..." She whispered, before jumping up the hole again and shooting a fireball of her own back in Ashriel's direction.

Ashriel immediately dropped and rolled, avoiding the fireball. He sprang back up on his feet, ready for another attack.

Ashriel was taken by surprise as Hremai rammed into him. "This is no way for a lady to behave!" Ashriel choked as she rammed him. Being built as a rogue and not a fighter, it was all Ashriel could do to drag Hremai down with him into the snow.

We're SO going to end up as those two everyone makes annoying "old couple"-comments about.

Also: DM is asleep. Fight.

Logan suddenly grabbed both Hremai and Ashriel by their jackets and held each of them high in the air. "I don't care how fast, agile, or intelligent either of you are." he growled. "If another fight occurs, I'll bash your skulls together. This ends now."

He dropped the two elves into the snow and looked at Valentin and Aarys. "This really isn't the best time to have your first dance lesson. In case you haven't noticed...we're being tracked by the ICA. I don't really get how it makes sense to dance at a moment like this. Make yourselves useful. I want each of you to grab a gun and keep watch over the south side of the camp. I don't care if you have your romantic little love talks there. As long as you're keeping watch."

Logan then looked back at Hremai and Ashriel. "And you two need to make yourselves useful too. Go wake up Eru and Gladro. Now."

Matt, burnt hair smells like a monkey's arse. Why'd you have to do that?
Valentin hurriedly grabbed his light machine gun and took cover behind the tree beside Aarys. "He started her hair on fire." he mumbled.

"I'm not going to wake Eru, that's for sure. He's the grumpiest guy alive in mornings..." Hremai said, standing up while "accidentally" kicking snow on Ashriel, before going to wake up Gladro. Poking her head into his tent, she yelled "Get up, Gladro! We need to go."

Valentin leaned his head up against the trunk of the fallen tree. He watched the darkened skies, and followed various flakes of snow as they glided onto the ground. "Hmm..." he mumbled, deep in thought.

Aarys scanned the layered shadows of the forest, watching for movement beyond the swirling snow that might betray a Shard's presence. "What's on your mind, Valentin?" She asked, her voice almost lost in the wind.

"I don't get...how we can do this whole revolution thing anymore." Valentin said. "Sanchez is gone, along with 25% of the damn rebels. The survivors are scattered all over the damn place, the estate is lost, and we don't even have a bloody car to get us around."
