Will you have a Skyrim release party?

Post by SpikeSpeigel »

It may be early for this thread(maybe it should be a poll?)

Will you get together with friends and start off Skyrim the first night and celebrate or (like me) hide away in a dark room for 48hours getting your adventure started?

I'll be living alone in a town in which I know no one. So it'll be a party of solitude.

No, because I'll be wanting to play Skyrim alone.

I'd rather just be playing skyrim than have to deal with real people, at least if i dont like the looks of an NPC i can just hack them down where they stand!

Of solitude or in Solitude? Say hi top the Imperialists for me!

Aren't I the funniest?

As for me, I wont have a party, it's not that big a deal for me, although I will be talking to my friend who's into TES about it, most of my friends aren't really into TES anyways.

I'll probably work abroad then and get home in December. By then, my little brother will have bought it and officially blocked me from the game forever. Sooo yeah...

Unfortunately I don't have any friends who are also into TES. Fallout, yes. Skyrim, no. :(

I'll probably be playing alone, but keeping my friend updated on text messages.

No but seriously, you can't really have a party for a massive singleplayer game.

One of which will take most of us hours to simply CREATE a character.

Luckily, I'm one of those few with a girlfriend that actually enjoys watching me play TES games.

I'll go to the midnight release party, but other than that, I like playing games like this by myself. No one to tell me "hey go over there!!"

Well, being a military veteran myself, I will most likely be partying my ass off. Then alone time with the game.

Ahh.. upgrade that to wife, for me. Met me when I was 19, I was a gamer, married me as a gamer.
I'm an insomniac that literately plays games a minimum of 35hrs a week. Hell I only work 40hrs a week. I should work in games.

No party for me.... just lots of gaming, bump that average up from 35hrs a week to 80hrs+.............

I mean TES is amazing, but hardly a party thrower, my best bud and i are into alsorts if genre's, sounds reallllly weird but were lucky to have each other as buds, everything i like he like's and TES is one of those many thing's, besides it''s released on a weekend, so i will be partying more than likely anyway all weekend then mending my hangover, but Skyrim should make that process alot quicker.

Well I'm only 24, still lots of time for that.

And yes me too, 35+ hours a week, if not playing then writing about them (reviews, editorials, etc)

My release party will last for 72 hours in my living room with the curtains closed and my chips and soda at hand. It's gonna be good.
