Lost a follower
If I lose someone that's following me, or I can't find someone, I know there's a console command to bring them to you. PlaceAtPC "object",1,20,1 can work, but I heard that it makes a copy of the character, not the original. I'm sure I've seen somewhere how to bring the original in-game character to your character, but I can't find it. Anyone know how?

Re: Lost a follower
I've never heard of problems with PlaceAtPC, [ObjectID], [Count], [Distance], [Direction] making a copy of the NPC you wish to 'summon', so I think that's probably the best route.
Who was the follower?

That being said, I've still never encountered a problem with having a copy. Maybe other people have, but I wouldn't let that put you off using the command.

Well even if vidian can find out which quest the follower is from or can locate dialogue or a journal entry, we can find the follower.

Use the wiki to find the NPC's ID, use the console to get your coordinates (Player->GetPos X, et cetera). Then either:
-"NPCID"->Position X, Y, Z, 0 (for exteriors), or
-"NPCID"->PositionCell X, Y, Z, 0 "Cell ID" (Cell ID is what your local map shows as the name of the area; for example, "Balmora, Guild of Mages").
Do not use PlaceAtPC; this new copy will not work with scripts.

If you toggle TDT in the console which displays the debug screen it shows your position bottom left. It only gives the first three co-ords so you need to add the 4th (0, or 1,)PrinceShroob wrote:use the console to get your coordinates (Player->GetPos X, et cetera).
