Least Favorite Monster
(Sorry if this has been posted a million times before)
I would have to go with Trolls...I just got my Bosmer [censored] handed to me repeatedly. I can only assume they are the devil or I need to lern2play.
Their regeneration is INSANE. What is the trick? And what is your least favorite baddie?

I hate Daedra. Not that they are hard, I'm just so sick of seeing them ALL THE TIME.
I spend a lot of my time on the plains of Oblivion, and I swear that is all I do there: just fight or run away from Spider Daedra and Xivilai. They are everywhere. DAEDRA ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD.
Wait, haven't they tried already? But got foiled by the [&@%!] son of Uriel Septim? Hmph, I'm really not up with current events.

Oh yeah. I hate zombies of all kinds too, and their disproportionately large amount of health. And I tend to use slow-burning fire damage spells, too, so I am being chased by BURNING ZOMBIES.Mynk wrote:I throw up in my mouth each time I get a little too close to the headless zombies in game...
And yes Wraiths are creepy.
Dead things should just stay dead, goddamn it! I really prefer fighting daedra. At least they look cool.
Help? Help with what? They don't make a cure for stupid. You'll just have to play through the game all over again. - Butterknife

I hate trolls
Trolls can be a real problem. Two handed swords seem to help. They give that extra reach so you can stab them more and if the troll is far enough away it will swing at you a miss.
I remember once running away from ten or so trolls. Lucky me I found an invisibility potion. That sure was a close call.
I hate Dread Zombies the most!

Yes, and all the little spiderlings gather and attack you and you can't jump out cause they all get in your way. The "mom" is meanwhile shooting shock spells at you and you see several Xivilai running at you from the path ahead.
You try to get out, despite the little annoying spiders while being shot at by spider women and a nearby fire tower. A daedroth lumbers at you from behind and you have no choice but to run straight....through a mine field.
Don't forget my favorite epic battles: on top of the narrow bridges that connect towers. You try to balance while at the same time trying to throw your opponent off. Nowhere to dodge, nowhere to run.
Then the mad dash through the Sigillum Sanguil (however exactly you spell that). By that time all kinds of daedra are running after you. You grab the stone while somehow miraculously recovering loot from "The Punished". Then you spend 20 seconds praying that you will teleport out of the planes of Oblivion and back to Tamriel before the big mean daedroth mauls you or you get hit by the Storm Atronach.
No thank you. I'd rather be fighting zombies. At least they are not as common, very slow, and ultra predictable.

And once you hit the loading screen (if you're using my computer), praying that Tamriel won't cause a CTD when you get out of the gate!Vesna wrote: Then you spend 20 seconds praying that you will teleport out of the planes of Oblivion and back to Tamriel before the big mean daedroth mauls you or you get hit by the Storm Atronach.
It all comes down to personal preference, I guess.
Have you tried chugging an invisibility potion right after grabbing the stone? If you get killed a lot waiting for the plane to collapse, it'd probably be worth the cost of the potions.

Also there's that glitch that causes you to be stuck in Oblivion. Even after you grab the sigil stone, everything goes white, but you're still not teleporting. Even worse, the baddies keep attacking. So you have to stumble through the blinding light until you reach the door and try to get out of Oblivion the long way.

I'm going to go with 2 monsters, one would be Scalons. They aren't hard to fight at all, but when it's raining and you have to walk to a location b/c you haven't explored much, and an invisible thing attacks you from behind, it's a real pain in ass.
Two would be Grummites(sorry for SI monsters only lol) But they are the daedra of SI. The are't hard to fight either, but there are so many of them and they just keep coming.

My most hated enemy must be the fiercy mudcrabs. Imagine, you come running along the shore, and suddenly some of theese beasts jumps you from behind a rock. You try to run away, but as you run, more and more of them comes out from their hiding and starts chasing you, and soon you'll have a dozen of theese shelly clawy monsters chewing on your tail (I'm an argonian). Oh, and xivilais are a pain too...
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.
A viking is just a horny pirate.

I used to hate fighting mages because I could never get close to them with my knife, and they would dodge my arrows. Now I actually enjoy drawn out mage battles. Except for summoners, which are worse than cliff racers almost. At least I can kill a cliff racer in one shot and they don't heal themselves.

*growls* I got my tail handed to me by them. I had just gotten sea stride, and when I got off on the beach I turned around and found 6...SIX on my tail...I was so toast.
