There also has to be price and inventory differences. Slums=two of the cheapest weapons and armor and bars only have a little bit of beer, ale and mead. Noble district would have the finest wines and glowing, expensive armor. Going along with that it would be cool to buy armor from the poor district and have it rusty and bent, but much cheaper. In the higher class area I would like my freshly purchased elven armor to glow in the fresh sun. This goes with weapons as well.

Maybe not a little bit of ale just really cheap ale wouldn't want to run out of ale in the slums that would be bad and in the tavern's the slum tavern's should be much more rowdy then the noble taverns with prostitutes and people fighting and people stumbling around

There needs to be a little Bravil in every city. A section of each city where the sick and the poor live, with cheap inns, bars, skooma dens, gangs, thieves. Just because there wasn't enough crime in pretty much every city in Oblivion, save for the Imperial City, Bravil, Leyawiin, and a little everywhere else. Then there should be a place that is filled with fancy bars, casinos, weapon shops, all that sort of thing with the occasional burglary. Yeah... that'd be awesome.

no casinos, this is Skyrim, there'd be gambling dens and illegal blood fights (to the victor goes ALL the spoils)

It looks like we will have at least one slum in the city of Riften on the waterfront as show in the first video in this article http://www.elderscrolls.com/community/c ... pt-skyrim/ it is in the first movie in the article you will see it at 0:14 to 0:20 so glad what are your guys thoughts on this slum I think from what I have seen has a more grungy look to it unlike the Imperial Waterfront and I like the fog makes it kind of suspicous and scary it looks like a much upgraded version of the Waterfront im pretty sure it is in this slum in the sewers that you find the Thieves Guild I think I know where im going first to Riften to check out the slums on 11-11-11 :D but I do wish they showed us more than a glimpse from what I see looks good though the wood and buildings are weathered I like it.
