What i didn't like about the waterfont though was that in that guide to cyrodil or whatever book it was talking about how dangerous the waterfront was and it was not uncommon to trip over bodies it really wan't like that I wan't it to actually be the way it's supposed to be.

It's okay. I was doing it for weeks. I didn't know what a doble post was. I thought they meant duplicate post.

I was thinkin Nord's too right I mean they're rough culture and alot of them seem to be working class probably poorest of human races what'd you think? And they're always drinking which would suggest they're lower class alot of people probably don't hire alchoholics right?POMC S117 wrote:Orcs, Khajiit and Argonians namely. Maybe also the Dunmer.

Yes, Nords as well. The Orcs will probably have a Mafia and run a protection racket.

Yeah it would be cool if the dunmer brought the commona tong over too and then there was like a local nord gang that is trying to defend their home turf from foreignersPOMC S117 wrote:Yes, Nords as well. The Orcs will probably have a Mafia and run a protection racket.

Maybe there will be different sections of the cities, a rich section and a poor section... Assassin's Creed 1 did a good job with this. Maybe Skyrim will be similar

My estimation that medium to large sized cities will be celled but not towns you wander trough in your travels.

Re: Slums in Skyrim
Yeah same here but it would be even cooler to have stuff happen out of the blue like in fallout new vegas in freeside the local gang the kings are always randomly shooting thugs I want stuff like that like the first time you walk in the town the minute you walk in there's a orc and a nord in a fist fight and you can choose to help the nord gang or orc gang and whichever one you help maybe will grant you membership or maybe consider you for membership but umm the dragons that's only in open town's not in big cities like solitude.slack90 wrote:I was wondering this, can a dragon come and get you in a city or is it an only open world feature? and yea I want some local gang wars or at least talk of them while you do the gang's you choose dirty work.POMC S117 wrote:And then the Guards come and there is a three way brawl, until a dragon comes and is shrouded in a ring of flying fists!

Re: Slums in Skyrim
Ok I figured as much. The way I am looking at things is they keep building and incorporate parts from previous gangs so if there is things like gangs randomly shooting and NPC interactions then I would bet money that something like it will be present in skyrim.

Re: Slums in Skyrim
There will be gangs, hopefully beyond the "gangs" we saw in oblivion consisting of 3 people you gotta go bust up. And it wouldn't be a stretch to think that there will be quests involved to either break up a gang, or do some dirty work for a gang by intimidating a rival or something. I have no clue about if they would be joinable, though I would bet no since joinable factions are usually reserved for the big epic guilds.

Re: Slums in Skyrim
True! good point I had forgotten that. But I posted int hat thread though my doubts as to how that would actually work. It might mean there are lots of factions now you can join. But I am still a little skeptical since I dont want to get my hopes up. Maybe they could be a cell of that guild and thats how you get in? Kind of like the different warriors guild halls in oblivion.

Re: Slums in Skyrim
Im thinking you probably can join like a gang but they probably only have like 3 missions kind've like in new vegas with the Kings gang in freeside you can join but they only give you like 3 missions I think it will be more like new vegas where theres alot of minor guilds that are joinable. And yeah I agree Check-Nateslack90 wrote:True! good point I had forgotten that. But I posted int hat thread though my doubts as to how that would actually work.
