When 1.8 comes out I am going to ditch all my stuff, go outside, find an Enderman, start recording and beat the hell out of it with my fists while screaming loudly.

Farlanders! Cool! Does that mean we'll be able to go to the Far Lands soon?

Also, I made a quarry, and have now made lots of stair cases cut into the rocks. It looks amazing. I found a cave behind my ladders leading into the quarry as well!

You don't want to go to the Far Lands, messed up terrain (which I suppose could be cool) and horrible frame rate drops everywhere.

Also, don't send me a copy. PCs are for reading the interwebz, not for playing games. Consoles are for that.

Yes you can, in a way. But only on Xbox. There are quite a few indie games that are based on Minecraft.

Not really, I don't see anything FortressCraft OR TotalMiner have that I desperately want in Minecraft. So I might as well stick with Minecraft.

Terraria is a different kettle of fish, I love it because it actually tries to be different, being 2D and focusing on the RPG/Adventure elements more than the building/creativity. From what I've seen the likes of FortressCraft are just doing the same thing that Notch has done and while they may be bringing some new things to the table there is nothing there that interests me.

total miner is meh at best.

the only cool thing about that game is the evil demon spiders of death. also the tick tick tick of mining things makes me want to kill people

I made a new world, and so far I've found:

4 gold
Over 100 iron
TONS of coal
2 dungeons
About 6 caverns

And this is just from digging a two-wide stairway and finding caves and such.
