Well I've looked, can't find anything other than skooma (well unrefined moon sugar, but it doesn't seem to have "uses").

jeff is right, it's potions, made from alch. Specifically potions, cause they're pure enough to drink.

Dammit! That's the second time I overthought an alchemy question. I was looking for ingredients you'd boil (food? lichor?), ingredients you'd crush (teeth? claws?), ingredients you'd burn (Fire Salts, maybe?), split (sticks, fungus stalks?), and combine together to make some kind of purifying potion... Cure Disease or Cure Poison or something like that. I'm just gonna give up trying to answer anything alchemy related from now on.

Nope, the answer wasn't alch, it was specifically potions made from alch.

Doros, it's what each of the bits of equip do:

Boil me up - retort/alembic
Grind me down - mortar+pestle
Burn me out - calcinator
Split me apart - alembic (or could be retort as well), distills out the parts
And now I am pure - ie not poison, cause they'd kill you if you drank them.

I know it's only rough really, but it was as close as I could get it.

Oh, you can drink poisons, especially iocane powder. They can also be used as excellent marinades- a slow-roasted boar rib basted in 3 teaspoons of tri-elemental poison for eight hours has a delightfully zesty tang to it.

Well strictly speaking not all potions are that pure either, some def have negative effects, but I was just trying to get the gist across!!
