Did you guys set your timezone in the User Control Panel?
On topic: More accessible branches, It'd be cool to find multiple sanctuaries across Skyrim instead of just one, gives the feel of them being everywhere

Re: Dark Brotherhood
I personaly would like to see missions where you have to kill Morag Tong members like the Morag Tong is trying to move into Skyrim and the DB is at war with them. I would Also like to see more than just 1 sanctuary like after you become listener they are unlocked and more missions to make it more realistic with you rising through the ranks. And more members in DB

Re: Dark Brotherhood
That's why I loved the Morag Tong, they had a base in each major city of Vvardenfel, they were disguised as taverns, hidden deep within sewers or in a couple cases, out in the open (but they are supposed to be legal, so they don't really need to hide).
Having a DB/MT clash would be great, but it would make me want to join the MT...
More on the bases themselves, instead of the abandoned house with a well, have one be like an old prohibition Speakeasy. Early on, you'd see people talking to a "bouncer" and going into the basement or through a secret door. You'd have no clue it was them, so you sneak in or eavesdrop and recite the code, only to find that they know you're here and instead of killing you outright, they give you the option to prove your worth...maybe for the first few quests, you'll have someone shadowing you, to make sure you don't snitch...

Re: Dark Brotherhood
I like that idea alot but I have to say I think I would go with DB they are more my stile they're illegal everywhere an underground organization that remind me more of like a Mafia almost whereas the MT are legal but if you think about it they wouldn't be legal in Skyrim because they're only sancioned in Morrowind. But I have to ask what race do you usually play as cause that makes a diffrence if your DB or MT sometimes?Chaos the N'wah wrote:That's why I loved the Morag Tong, they had a base in each major city of Vvardenfel, they were disguised as taverns, hidden deep within sewers or in a couple cases, out in the open (but they are supposed to be legal, so they don't really need to hide).

Re: Dark Brotherhood
I was just a dabbler in morrowind, so forgive me if im wrong, but wasnt the morag tong sponsored by the local governments in morrowind? And if so, how would they be in existence given the fact that morrowind has been decimated?
That screenshot that came out today sure did look like he was decked out in MT armor from oblivion, which i assume was pretty close to how it looked in morrowind, so maybe it is back.

Re: Dark Brotherhood
For DB, I'll join as any race
MT, only if I'm Dunmer or Khajiit...everything else seems weird to me
But I usually make a point not to join either if I'm playing as a mage, warrior, Paladin, or any archetype that wouldn't fit the faction
@Sp ~ with Morrowind scattered as a nation and the waning power of the Empire, likely the MT will become more like the DB in that they would likely offer their "services" to other nations, but since they are only legal in Morrowind, they will be under-the-table deals. Perhaps the MT will be a way for the Dunmer to gather funds to rebuild...
I'd like a return of the goggled veil/mask from Morrowind/Concept art

Re: Dark Brotherhood
Yeah that sounds very possible but I think if there is a Morag Tong it will be 99% Dunmer just because every other assassin in Skyrim would join DB you know there would be no reason for him to join a group that's from Morrowind.Chaos the N'wah wrote:For DB, I'll join as any race

Re: Dark Brotherhood
Quite right, for the most part there wouldn't be much of a reason to make MT joinable if the DB is more "settled"
That makes me sad because I really like the more noble MT, I've always view the two like this:
The only reason for adding MT as a joinable faction (besides love of MT) that I see is that it would progress current events of the Dunmer...but that doesn't seem like a big reason to add an entire opposing faction
Or they could regress back to their roots and we'll stumble across them at the Mephala shrine in Skyrim....
That makes me sad because I really like the more noble MT, I've always view the two like this:
- DB is murder as a passion
- Morag Tong is murder as a profession

Yeah im thinking the same thing but maybe there will be an expansion where they're playable and if not im sure someone will make a mod for it eventually that is if you have it for pcChaos the N'wah wrote:Quite right, for the most part there wouldn't be much of a reason to make MT joinable if the DB is more "settled"

Re: Dark Brotherhood
Don't get me started on expansions, that's some serious rage fuel...
As long as there is an influx of some traditional Dunmeri armor/weapons/clothes, I'll be happy....although that wristblade from the MT concept art would be snazzy...
But I keep getting on the MT, when this is a DB thread
I'd like to not have to wipe out some of the most memorable npcs this time around

Also if you become listener you should have some sort of daily duties you have to fulfill like check in with other sanctuaries and send assassins on missions and be able to order attacks on Morag Tong members and you should be rewarded by them giving you sometype of listners hideout.

Yeah me too that was depressing I don't think you will have to do it again I think there will be more choices in Skyrim like you can either wipout this sanctuary because we have a traitor or you can investigate and find out who it is you know?Chaos the N'wah wrote:Don't get me started on expansions, that's some serious rage fuel...

Oh and members should be able to die like if they go on a mission with you and you fail to protect them well enough and you should be able to have a funeral ceremony of some sort

Re: Dark Brotherhood
Exactly as a matter of fact that's what I got it from and you should be able to send members from sanctuaries all around tamriel like not physically go there but like you click on say the Cheydinhal sanctuary it brings up a list of members from that chapter with there rank and you can choose to send them on a mission but then if they die because you sent a too low of level on too high of a mission like killing a count they're gone foreverAnonymous98223 wrote:yeah like in assassins creed you can send assassins on missions to level them up and stuff
