Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
The General frowned. "I want-"
He was inturrupted as a missile slammed into the dome roof of the planetarium. Dust and remains of the structure rained upon the ten individuals in the chamber. Gunfire raged outside.
As the dust cleared, the General's dead body was revealed under a massive piece of the stone roof, everything below his neck completely crushed. The One lay on the floor, coughling heavily. "Help!" he wheezed.

Aarys sprinted over to the One, helping him up and draping his frail arm over her shoulder."What in hell do we do now?" She muttered, her voice panicked.

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
"Outside!" the One replied. "Get outside!"
Logan and Dragovan suddenly rushed into the remains of the chamber with various submachine guns slung over their shoulders. The weight of the firearms was slowing them down. "SANCHEZ!" Drago shouted as he set eyes on the dead General.
"Aarys!" Logan said to the Woodland Elf. "I want you to get the One out of here quickly!" He tossed her an M1 Garand rifle. "There are two cars awaiting us at the garage! Do not let that old man be harmed! Get him into one of the cars and cover the garage! You can bring someone to help if you would like!"
Logan then turned to everyone else. "I need the rest of you to come with Drago and I!" he shouted. "We've brought weapons!"
Logan and Drago each set various weapons including an MP 40, a Nagant M1895 Revolver, a Mosin-Nagant, an SVT-40, a Degtyaryov light machine gun, and two Beretta M 1934 handguns. "Take anything you'd like!" Drago ordered.
"General Sanchez was not supposed to die on this day." the One whispered to Aarys. "Scelestus is twisting Fate!"

Gladro grabed a MP 40. "Aarys, i'll come with you and help to get the One out of here." shouted Gladro. He knew this man was special and he had to save him.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
Valentin slowly picked up the Degtyaryov light machine gun. "You two stay safe." he said to Aarys and Gladro.
Valentin just could not process the fact that Sanchez was dead. Hell, just ten minutes ago, he was explaining a connection between an old man and the Old God.

"Right, make sure Ashriel doesn't get himself killed." Gladro replied, praying for the first time in his life that they all make it.

Aarys caught the rifle and checked the sight. She glanced over to the One. "Are you able to walk?"

"OK. Stay behind me." Aarys said, and raised the rifle to a ready stance. She set off at a brisk pace for the garage, her eyes flicking around at anything that could prove hostile.

Gladro made sure his gun was loaded and followed behind Aarys and the One not wanting to leave her to protect him by herself.

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
When Aarys, Gladro, and the One exited the villa, a huge battle was revealed to them. Hundreds of Shards poured onto the compound on foot, in jeeps, and in tanks. They unleashed their fire on any living being that was even remotely related to the rebels. Many rebels tried fighting back. The majority were gunned down without question.
Five of the Shards turned their attention to Aarys, Gladro, and the One. They began firing in their direction.

"Oh hell!" Hremai said grabbing a Mosin-Nagant and a handgun, before running outside, trying to find someone to shoot.

"Hremai!" Drago roared. "NO!"
The moment Hremai exited the villa, she was met with gunfire from two Shard soldiers carrying rifles. One of the bullets hit her left arm.

Gladro took cover behind a chest high wall. With bullets flying overhead kept his body behind the wall. He held up his gun and fired blind towards the shards.

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
Spoiler:
One of the Shard suddenly burst into the room. Drago raised his pistol and fired a bullet into the soldier's head. "We need to recover the map on the other side of the compound!"
Logan frowned. "Can you still shoot?" he asked Hremai.

Gladro's blind fire fatally wounded one of the Shards. He fell to the ground, distracting the other soldiers for a moment.

"I'm just getting out of here!" Exclaimed Ashriel. He grabbed a pistol and decided to follow The One. He needed more information at the very least.

Ring-a-ding, baby.

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
Spoiler:
"General Sacnhez has been killed!" the One said to Lyra.
"What!?" Lyra replied in shock, tears instantly building up in her eyes.
"It was not Fate's plan! Scelestus is twisting Fate and using it as a tool against us!"
Lyra wiped a single tear from her eye before snapping back into action. "We must go now!" she hollared. "I'll take you all to the garage! Let's go!" Lyra stood and began jogging towards the western area of the compound, firing at the nearby Shards. Bullets flung past her head, but she continued without hesitation.

Drago grabbed Ashriel's arm. "Listen, kid," he said seriously. "You've been a big pain in my ass this entire time. What do you think's going to happen when you get out there? You're gonna blast your way through all the damn Shards out there and be the hero of the day? Bullsh*t! If you want to go out there, fine! But we need you."
"There's a valuable map located in a small building in the eastern area of the compound." Logan explained. "We need it."

Aarys glanced at the One. "Move with me!!! I'll cover you!" She ran out of cover, wildly firing her rifle at the shards.

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
The One followed Aarys' orders. Eventually, Lyra, Aarys, Gladro, and the One were able to reach the garage. Lyra quickly opened one of the doors, shoved the other three inside, and slammed it shut behind her. "The Shards' bullets won't be able to get through the garage door. We have some time. Are all of you okay?"
Two 1933 Fritz Model B-18 Sedans were parked inside, along with a few tanks and jeeps.
