Ah, yes. Didn't I mention that my sleep schedule is horribly messed up? Anyway, it's up now.

Can't you trust the members of this forum? I mean, as long as we keep the IP Address to ourselves there will be an obvious punishment for those of us who screw with the server as there would be some backlash from the members of the community. Wait, are you talking about a white list? That could work I guess.

But in all seriousness, you can make mob traps by leaving a dark room where they will spawn and having yourself visible through glass so they come to get you but your safe and then some mechanism for killing them and collecting their items.

In our old mob trap that was essentially the mechanism. The mobs would run towards you but fall into this inescapable water stream that would throw them down into a hole where they'd drown, and then the items would collect at the bottom of a chute. It was moderately effective, but not amazing like these 13,000 items per hour ones.
