Ways to kill people in a city and not get caught?

I'd really like to be able to kill some one in a rural area and not have the gaurds instantly know where I am and arrest me. Is there a way that this can be possible with some form of Chameleon or other spell/enchantment? If any of you know the answer to this, it would be much appreciated.

You can get away with murder with 100% chameleon. Also killing the gray prince after doing his quest to find his father is a good way of killing someone. That's if you want to get into the brotherhood if that is what you are asking.

If you have 25+ sneak, a single arrow shot while sneaking is enough to kill your target. Now just get 50+ marksman, get the zoom feature, and strike a swift and accurate blow. Here's a tip, find cover while your arrow is flying through the air, it usually takes 4-5 seconds to hit, in which time you can activate an invisibility spell.

If you use melee, then get the command humanoid spell and lead your victim to some corner of the city where the guards aren't looking (you can go through doors and they will follow you - having your own house really helps here, otherwise find some kind of deserted house and get the key/pick the lock beforehand). When they're at their grave, dig it for them. Cast a soul trap spell (forces them out of the command spell but doesn't make them hostile - they will be unaware of you if you do it while sneaking) and use the bound dagger spell. 6x damage + bound dagger is usually an instant kill. And if you want then you can increase the duration of the soul trap spell (providing you have a black soul gem) and catch yourself a grand soul.

I'm not so sure about the soul trap thing, you might be able to just wait until it wears off.

Oh, and of course - the best way: Poisoned apples. Place them in your victim's inventory and go out exploring. By the time the day is over, they will have fallen dead. If you can't get poisoned apples, simply obtain a zero-weight armor item (I recommend mage's hoods) and enchant them with the effect fire damage 3 pts or damage health 3 pts (the former being more entertaining to watch at night) and place that in your victim's inventory. They will usually equip it once they walk through any door providing they don't already have any apparel on their head.

There's so many possibilities!

PS: If you want to murder in front of a guard, but want to pay a 40gp bounty instead of the usual 1,000gp, then poison a weapon and make it so that the poison finishes them off. It will be counted as assault so the fine will only be 40gp. You can come back and loot their items (which is almost always worth more than 40gp after you've paid the fine.

Don't trust the guards aren't watching thing... Yesterday I killed the Bravil Mages guild members while they were sleeping: Sneaking and one hit killers to all of them. I got out of the mages guild, BAM 2k bounty on my head and a guard waiting for me =/

Bow and Arrow from afar without being seen know one will no it was you as long as you one hit kill them. I suggest going into sneak mode to get a 3x Damage multiplier also.

Just cast a frenzy spell on them or just sneak up on them when no one is looking and get an instant hit kill and no one will know.
