Problem with the Ultimate Heist

I'm at the Hall of Epochs and When I go into the the smaller room, push the button and come back, the pillars are still there; blocking my way to the pressure plate.

There are two zones in the hall of epochs. The first push block opens the way to the second zone. The push block to remove the pillars in the first zone, is in the second zone (on the map it is called the 5th zone of the Old Way).

Take an immediate left on the balcony and claim the contents of the boss-leveled Ayleid Coffer at B, then activate the push block nearby; it will lower a wall downstairs at M, so jump down, find the new entrance and proceed forward to door H leading to the fifth zone, also named Hall of Epochs.

Yeah I know. The push block wouldn't work. It ended up, however, that I could just jump into the pressure plate area.
