The Dragonborn: Your opinions?
So how is one born with the soul of a Dragon when they are not a dragon.

Re: Dragonborn questions.
If it's anything I've learned from Dungeons and Dragons... Don't ask. lol.
On a more serious note, there's so many explanations that it's hard for us to say. I'm sure it will explain it in game.

Well, explanantions are what I was looking for. and seeing as the game doesn't come out for months, I was interested in people's opinionsOtherworldOdd wrote:If it's anything I've learned from Dungeons and Dragons... Don't ask. lol.

Re: Dragonborn questions.
Oh, opinion. I thought you were asking fact. :]. You see, you didn't say. >.>
Well my opinion is that perhaps that's some dragon ancestry deep within your character's bloodline. Another idea would be that your family has some sort of blessing from a dragon. IDK about this game, but in D&D, dragons are extremely intelligent and can even speak english so either way.

Something like that yeah. That's pretty much how it works in D&D.

Last I checked, a Dragon and a Human are not compatible as matesOtherworldOdd wrote:born2beagator wrote:So your great great grandfather twice removed or something was a dragon?OtherworldOdd wrote:Oh, opinion. I thought you were asking fact. :]. You see, you didn't say. >.>

Re: The Dragonborn: Your opinions?
Um....
Think of it like a factory. There's a belt thing that your body's riding on. The machine grabs the wrong soul and before it can do anything about it you're shipped off.
And evidently that soul's a dragons soul.
Maybe that means someone can be born with the soul of an ogre. Or mudcrab.

Maybe you could learn Mudcrab Shouts after you've killed one. Epic.Qwackie wrote: Maybe that means someone can be born with the soul of an ogre. Or mudcrab.

Re: The Dragonborn: Your opinions?
Given that inheriting a dragon soul through bloodline would mean that
your parents and grandparents would also have the soul of a dragon.
Then, I suppose that the soul of the dragon can lie inert until it feels,
for lack of a better term, a disturbance in the force. It could explain
everything, but it feels a little... under polished.

Re: The Dragonborn: Your opinions?
One of your ancestors had severe damage to their soul and had to get a transplant. So they had a spare dragon's soul grafted in.

Re: The Dragonborn: Your opinions?
The septim family are all dragonborns think of it that way. They're all kings because they harness super sexy powers though in not entirely sure but I believe the dragon could enchant a human like a Mage to a sword

Maybe you don't have a dragon soul, maybe he's just wasted on purple drank or something.
