Favorite NPCs
Right now, I've got two favorite NPCs. There's Anoinette Marie in the Dark Brotherhood, because she's so cute and awkward. The other is Weebam-Na down in Leyawiin. He was funny when dealing with the Mazoga the Orc and is the character in the game that makes me wish that interaction with NPCs was better in Oblivion. I'd love to hang out with him.
I also started to like Mazoga after that mission was over.

Hmm
SPOILER ALERT
I always liked Modryn Oreyn. I was happy he was made second in command after completing the Fighter's Guild questline.

I'm very fond of Dar Ma and her mom in Chorrol, just for being nice and loving people. I also like Kud-Ei, the head of Mages' in Bravil. She's so concerned about her staff and doesn't mind breaking a rule or two to help them out.
It seems like I have a soft spot for lizard people. Probably due to the voice acting. Khajits also have groovy voices. *purrr*

Hmm
Agreed, Khajiit and Argonians are likable. In part because they play the role of oppressed underdogs.
Falanu Hlaalu, the necrophiliac alchemist
Second best is Martin.
Then Druja "Oh, Who Cares" from Skingrad Mages guild. And the funny pair from Bruma mages guild.
"GODDAMNIT PEOPLE! DON'T HIDE THAT BOOK! GIVE IT BACK TO HER AFTER CHANGING A FEW THINGS FOR MORE 'INTERESTING' EFFECTS OF THE SPELLS!"

There once was a Prince named Mehrunes
Whose buttocks sounded sonorous tunes
‘Twas an odiferous song
People sang before long
They had enough of his full crescent moons.

That is a Sheffield accent, sorry but I should know (I come from neighbouring Derbyshire), and some of my relatives in Sheffield speak remarkably like Martin. Not surprising as Sean Bean is the best thing produced by Sheffield in a long time (by 'eck!)rkMerafel wrote:I love the way Martin attempts to hide his blatant Manchester accent.
I have to confess to being a fangirl of both Lucien Lachance (unrepentantly bad, bad boy) and Martin (reformed Daedra worshipping bad boy turned hero).
But there are quite a few other characters who have made me laugh and created some good times in OB. Modryn Oreyn in the Fighter's Guild is such a grumpy old git, I just love the way he splutters "The little fetcher!" when you tell him about the misdoings of Maglir. And I like how Owyn in the Arena Bloodworks gradually changes his attitude as you win more bouts, and all his cheerfully bloodthirsty talk.
No probs. Sean Bean is Cultivated Sheffield then, at least when portraying Martin Septim. Although his accent was a great deal more broad when he played Mellors the gamekeeper in a recent re-screening in the UK of Lady Chatterley's Lover, but I guess it was not his accent we were noticing in that.....rkMerafel wrote:Sorry. Here in Australia we keep it simple with accents, only having three: Broad, General and Cultivated.
I tend to divide English in the same way, being Southern, Central and Northern. Anyway.

Okay, what about Count Hassildor, <(++<) SPOILER (>++)> how he lets his wife die after going through all the trouble of getting her the vampire cure...oh wait...that was me!
For real though, what about Baurus? he seems to kick enough ass and being a blade so young shows skill... perhaps he has a checkered past

In my game, Baraus (another guy I really liked), died face-down in the Imperial City sewers. My list of favorite NPCs that are still alive gets shorter every couple of days.Wouldntyouliketoknow wrote:For real though, what about Baurus? he seems to kick enough ass and being a blade so young shows skill... perhaps he has a checkered past

Also like Martin too cause Sean Bean is also from near where i live, and he did the Septim line proud
and last but by no means least, Lucien Lachance! Everyones favorite silky smooth assassin! I permantly wear my DB robe and hood in respect for that amazing man(i also walk everywhere too...it scares people more!)! Screw my fully enchanted glass armor, i don't care!
May you walk always in the shadow of Sithis, dear Brother

Hi
Armand Christophe comes in first here. At level one just meeting this guy was awesome. He had so much mystery about him and seemed to take you under his wing. Plus he's got a sexy voice.
Deetsan of the mages guild in cheydinal makes a close second. She's got guts to appraoch her superiour like she did and she seemed like a great leader.
M'aiq the Liar, for obvious reasons.
Alawen the master trainer in marskman. She's hot.

I must admit I got really fond of most people in the DB Cheydinhal Sanctuary. That "Of Secret And Shadow"-quest was really hard for me to do. I escpecially liked Lucien Lachance, Teinavaa and that Khajjit-guy. But really, everybody was so bloody nice to me there I almost cried when doing that quest. Haha.
As the Listener, I have to say I have a weakness of always liking my future kills. Failian, that rich guy in Subbtimist Manor and lots of other guys. That makes it harder with the quests.
Máiq The Liar is also great. Really great.
I liked the Thiefs Guild members alot, especially Armand. But The Gray Fox ruined it. He wasn´t very nice. Armand gave me quests like helping the beggars and fixing the taxes, so on, while The Gray Fox just was so selfish. Now I´m the Gray Fox.
Ganredhel is hot. Haha.
People I don´t like is The Gray Fox, Modryn Oreyn and Magnir(whathisname)- that wood elf that refuses [&@%!].

Yeah the grey fox was kind of a let-down. If Armande turned out to be him that woulda been capital!
Of Secret And Shadow made me feel a little sour inside too. But I got over it fast since I used poisoned apples on everyone except the vampire.
Same thing with obtaining Grand Champion, if only The Grey Prince fought back or you could just turn around and walk out the door! ;_;
