I have a cat and a dog. They're both girls, very smart and the cat is crazy. I love them very much.

I've a Jack Russel Terrier, an American Shorthair, 2 Tabbies, and a Calico.

The terrier is very calm for his breed.

I was sad for ages when my hamster died, but losing a dog must be harder. They're practically part of the family, well my dog is.

That's an adorable feline, dub! I'd have to say that the last of the pictures is my favorite, although all are wonderful. I'm not very knowledgeable in regard to cats; care to inform me of Momo's breed, should you be aware?

The only pet to reside in my house hold was my stepmothers dog for about 5 months...Then one day it decided to try to eat a decorative pine cone.

I still wonder when Peanut got to dog heaven, said it himself: "Should've thought that one through a little more"

That's a horrible method by which to perish... I'm sure that he's now surrounded by much more delectable treats than pine cones. You've never considered finding a companion of your own?

Thanks! The breed is Ocicat - named as they look kind of like an Ocelot.. but there is no wild blood in this breed at all, just a lot of clever mixing of domestics (Siamese, Abyssinian & American Shorthair). You can see more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocicat

Thank you kindly for the information. I believe that I viewed a bit of a program concerning the breed on Animal Planet- Cats 101, or something of the like- I didn't watch for very long, however, as the narrator's voice was irritating and the number of guest speakers was entirely pointless. The webpage provided a much more efficient manner in which to learn the details of the breed.

I have a cat. Hoshi. She's grey and striped and adorable. And just the tiniest bit weird. She pees in the bathtub. Always has. No sign of a UTI or anything. She just pees in the tub. Usually she does so right by the drain, but sometimes she doesn't. She also scratches around the outside of her litter box, and does tries to bury food bowl the same thing around her food bowl. And on the metal parts of our sliding doors. And occasionally completely at random. And she scratches at the fridge as well when I'm in the kitchen and she wants some attention. Basically, I have a one-cat repository of weird cat behaviour.

I'll take some new pictures of her once she's all better - presently she still has two holes in her left side from the abscess she got when another cat attacked her. It took four vet visits: one to get the abscess looked at. One to put in a drain when we saw that the abscess wasn't healing properly. One to check on the drain. One to take it out.
