You are one ot them. The Accordion Thief. It is their special skill/spell, songs.

You do have to be careful, as you may have seen, they don't like it when you beg for stuff on the chat.

That's why it is good to have a clan, and then have some Accordion Thief(s) in it, to do buffs. hint, hint, hint... :P

The buffs last for 50 adventures too. :D

Actually, the buffs last a lot shorter, I think 5 or 10 adventures, but you can cast them multiple times at once. It just takes a ton of mana.

That is strange, since all 4 of my buffs were 50 adventures... :?

I actually do not know how you buff others, as I don't have a Harper.

I have an Acordian Thief that I started, if you could be so kind as to add him to the Clan please.

I figured it couldn't hurt to have another buff, plus I was curious how it worked too.

Hey, I'm an Accordian Thief! How do I cast buffs? And can I buff myself?

Go to your skills menu.
I'm not sure how to cast them on others, to tell you the truth.

You have to have gone to the "Wrong side of the tracks", and into "The department of Shadowy Arts and Crafts".
You have to join the guild.
You have to click the trainer to buy the buffs.

Click on your skills menu.
There should be a drop down for your buffs, select one.
there is another drop down that you can select for yourself, or you can select anyone in your contact list, or manually add them in.

You also have to have Mojo Points, and an Instrument. You don't have to equip it, you just have to have it in your inventory.

I mistakenly sold mine, then had to go to the flea market to buy another one. Took me a while to wait for one that I could use, and afford.

Hope that helps :D

Also, Deandra was correct, Image the duration is only for 5 adventures, you just have to cast several of them. So when I got 50 adventures, they cast 10 buffs. However, the duration might also increase as level increases. Image

Ok gang...

I'm going to be leaving town tomorrow for almost 2 weeks, and I'm not sure how much internet access I'll have.

The are two membership groups, "normal members" and "everyone." People in the "everyone" group (which consists of, you guessed it, everyone) can approve new members who have applied, add names to the membership whitelist, and help themselves to any item in the stash without karma requirements. I believe in giving people as much freedom as possible, so here are my basic expectations while I'm out:

1) Don't embarrass our clan. I don't care if you ask stupid questions in chat, or if you get into arguments with people you disagree with. But if I find out you've been banned from chat for excessive begging, ignoring mod warnings, or gross infractions of KoL's rules, I will not be happy. If you guys act as polite in chat as you do on these boards, you are doing way better than my minimum standards of behavior. Just keep in mind that you represent our clan whenever you interact with others.

2) Don't take stuff from the stash unless you plan to use it. And by "use it," I don't mean "sell it." By the same token, only put stuff in the stash that you expect, even want, others to take.

3) Don't recruit non-UESP people into the clan. If they really want to join, and you really want them to, accept them in as rank 0 "normal members."

Consignment Services

If you have something you want to sell at the mall, and the trade channel really isn't working for you, feel free to mail it to me and tell me to sell it in my store. I'll put it up for sale at whatever price you tell me, and send you the meat once it sells. Buying a mall store costs 50k meat and requires you to be lvl 9, so this might be helpful to some of you. The only caveat is that I'll be out of town until December 4, and if it doesn't sell by Friday (when I leave the country), you'll have to wait til I'm back to get your meat.

On the subject of selling stuff I'm doing pretty well in the flee market, check that out before you just sell something back to the game.
