Lurking in chat as per usual and waiting for someone to join Goof and myself there....like Vw mayhaps?

VirtualWeasel · Post by **VirtualWeasel** » Fri Jul 15, 2011 4:14 am

Fine.
I will, just wait...

Wondering why it isn't loading...

btw; I lied before and it was actually saying you're from New Zealand and I mixed the flags up since the difference is so minor and the flags are so small.
It's funny because Duruza thought I was Italian earlier...

You thought I was Australian?! You little... GRR!

Gandalf · Post by **Gandalf** » Fri Jul 15, 2011 7:41 am

Well, I'm now bored. Ugh. Chat's empty.

Could somebody post a link to the #UESP, please?

POMC S117 · Post by **POMC S117** » Fri Jul 15, 2011 11:28 am

Gandalf, I'm on the chat! Where are you?

Sloady · Post by **Sloady** » Fri Jul 15, 2011 5:16 pm

I have registered #UESP as well as #officialUESP. #officialUESP is the only place you'll get moderators however - the registration is simply to stop trolls getting a hold of admin priveldges, and this discouraging people from using the chat. The only place you'll get proper moderators, with proper rules, and proper fun is #officialUESP, and I recommend you use it if you want to talk to people.

I understand there's probably confusion about what channel to use, because I originally set up #UESP, and then shifted support to #officialUESP. So, I'd like to make it clear that #officialUESP is the channel to use. Why? It's safe, secure, and the moderators care about everyone having a good time. However, I understand some people would rather have no moderation and risk trolls invading their interwebs, so I've registered it. However, I trust that (most) of you are sane enough to realize that #officialUESP is the only place to go

Agreed! Thanks for this NightFather. You truly are a help to this site!

How do i change channels?

VirtualWeasel · Post by **VirtualWeasel** » Sat Jul 16, 2011 4:36 am

Just to let everyone know, I'm not going to be in the chat much anymore.

Sav · Post by **Sav** » Sat Jul 16, 2011 4:38 am

Why not?

VirtualWeasel · Post by **VirtualWeasel** » Sat Jul 16, 2011 4:39 am

I don't like it.
At all.

It tears me away from the forums, it does no one any good, the regular humor from me is being drained to a dry pulp, and many other reasons.

Sav · Post by **Sav** » Sat Jul 16, 2011 4:43 am

It is spammy.

VirtualWeasel · Post by **VirtualWeasel** » Sat Jul 16, 2011 4:44 am

Yes, it's spammy and disorganized.

Chaos the N'wah · Post by **Chaos the N'wah** » Sat Jul 16, 2011 4:47 am

As I posted in General, Chaos is no longer going to use the chat room.

It is far too distracting and is everything that UESP strives not to be.
I stand here with Vw, our minds in sync as always, and we take a stand here as the vanguard against UESP's slow demise through neglect.

Hopefully the rest of RIT will follow suit with our mandate....rawrs

Yeah, i know. Just sucks that you two are leaving the chat and that it's too spammy.

Hey, I beat you guys out of quitting the chat first by never joining it in the first place! In hindsight, I'm glad I stayed away after all the drama.

All we need is a formal statement from HoMie and RIT will have officially boycotted the Chat.

AKB, you're our Maverick
