How to travel

Post by Darth South »

I have just started Arena, and I'v read someweher you have to teleport in order to get somewhere or it takes days to change provinces. Unfortunately, I couldn't find how to. Can anyone help me?
Spoiler:
Beware of the cult! New ways are better than Camoran's.
I have worked too hard to get the same color with background,. So if you found what's written here, now you can enter the Mythic Dawn! But don't forget, dawn is breaking...

Greet the new day!

All you have to do to travel is first press Shift+M. Then choose a province and a city within that province. Now that you have that you have that city selected, click on the picture of the horse at the bottom of the map. Hope that helps. Happy roleplaying!

Ctrl-M takes you to the Map page. Currently that either shows a map of the city I'm in, or a map of the area outside the city. I see no horse image anywhere. Is there a second level to the map? As in, how do I go from local to Region/Global view of the world of Arena?

Do I have to do something special in the town to get access to a horse? Or be some minimal level?

(2 days an no response later...)
Sorry, I found it. You were saying *Shift+M* and I was hearing *Ctrl+M*
I read the manual :-) Now that I can travel, I was able to confirm that the town layouts are fixed for each town (at least they were for the ones I checked). Now all I need is enough courage to create wiki pages for each town showing where everything is. That should take a few months.
