Setheran stood upon a small rocky outcrop, roughly 2 hundred meters from the city. His eyes scanned the horizon, the dunmer on the walls were scrambling to-an-fro, performing tasks to prepare themselves for the fight to come. He could small their fear from here. He gave a smirk and looked back onto the valley filled with his bretheren, ready to fight. Ready to die. He smelled no fear there.
"on this day" he bellowed, "we fight." "Not for vengance, but for the freedom of our people." There was a deafening roar of agreement from the army below him. Setheran waited for the cheering to subside before continuing. "For too long our people have suffered opression and injustice, but no more!" "ON THIS DAY WE WILL END OUR PEOPLE'S SUFFERING ONE AND FOR ALL!!" With that he swung his axe from his shoulder and forced it into the air with both his hands, exerting as much effort as he would have if he were lifting a broom. The drums of war began to beat and the army began to charge. Setheran made a final prayer before heading toward a battle he'd both anticipated and dreaded for his entire life.
IN A CAVE CONNECTED TO THE SEWERS UNDER ALMALEXIA
J'azzir made a fist and flicked it into the air beside him. He was wearing a light leather jerkin and held a small, curved silver blade in one hand. The men behind him recognised the symbol and stop moving. Silently he peered around the corner in the cave wall. Beyond him were the Almalexian sewers around 10 goblins, sitting around a large fire upon which something was cooking. J'azzir smelled the pungent odor of both burning flesh and burning faeces. He released his fist and his hand spread out into the shape of a star with five points. He began counting down, his "Star" losing a point each second. 5,4,3,2,1. There was a flurry of movement as J'azzir and his soldiers rounded the corner with lighting speed. J'azzir's hand glowed purple as he magically augmented his speed. He ran at the Goblin nearest to him so quickly that it was dead before it had unsheathed it's weapon. The goblin who had been sitting next to him made a startling shrill cry and charged at J'azzir. The khajiit readied himself. The goblin reached him and lunged clumsily with it's blade. J'azzir nimbly dodged this and brought his blade down onto the Goblins outstretched arm, severing it completely. the goblin let out another short, sharp cry before J'azzir plunged his blade into the it's throat.
The goblins were easily dispatched and were no challenge for J'azzir or his soldiers. they moved on, deeper into the sewers and under the outer district of Almalexia. The plan was coming together. A lump formed in J'azzir's throat as his squadron reached the ladder they were to climb. As he ascended J'azzir heard the clanging of swords and the screams of battle. The attack was under way, and he was just in time.
Almost simultaneously and from every sewer entrance he could see, J'azzir's men sprung. The dunmer were taken by surprise and now completely surrounded. J'azzir grinned to himself as he plunged his blade into a young dunmer's back. The battle had begun and J'azzir loved the smell of battle.
Spoiler:
The attack has commenced! make sure you get down here before all the dunmer are dead!

Just a note on the battle sequence we’re running through:
The Breach occurred around the same time as the Council of War. The siege had been going for much longer though. After we run through the breach, we’ll move forward to the actually Battle, so keep that in mind and create a new minor character if you want your old one to stay where he is. We only really need one or two main characters for the Argonian side of the battle, but someone should control the Argonian forces. I’ll do it if nobody wants to.
Almost simultaneously and from every sewer entrance in the city, j'azzirs men sprung. The dunmer were taken by surprise and now completely surrounded. j'azzir grinned to himself as he plunged his blade into a young dunmer's back. The battle had begun and J'azzir loved the smell of battle.
Just going to remind people about GOD RPing. Only the DM can kill people, don't let it happen on the main thread.
In addition, the Argonians do not breach the entire city therefore the bold bit is invalid.
When you say i can't kill people, do you mean other players or even like the "young Dunmer" who J'azzir stabbed?
"We prepare to aid our brothers who scale the walls of the city." Said the Argonian with no hint of jest in his voice. "You are welcome to join us friend, but know that the mission will be perilous. Many of us march to our graves."
You will be able to kill minor characters when you are semi-DMs on the main thread, but for now let's try and keep killings to a minimum, just pretend this is a normal RP, I'll consider the situation, but for now try to be less explicit, i.e.: "Duruza swung at a gangly Argonian who had jumped out from behind the wall"
I'll edit soon with more Dunmer perspective. Keep up the good work all !
And I am ready for that march, but i see me marching past my grave towards the glostening light of revenge.." said Roxsuth, eyeing the argonian with a stare of seriousness. "Let us do this. For my father, and far the fall of Marrowind!"
A party of Dunmer stormed out through the gates of the city and charged at the mass of Argonians milling outside. They ploughed through their ranks and headed towards the rendezvous point that had been arranged with the supply train, inflicting many injuries but suffering heavy casualties as they went.
The guards patrolling the sewers where alerted to the impending invasion by the flickering of shadows against the walls of the sewers. They drew their blades and one hurried up the nearest ladder to call for reinforcements, but it was too late as they were quickly surrounded by Argonians and slain by Argonian arrows before they could raise the alarm.
As the supply convoy increased speed towards the city, Shows-His-Teeth ordered his men to ready their projectiles; many carried throwing spears just as he himself did. The group of experienced warriors, Shows-His-Teeth at the head of their formation, moved over a shallow, miniature ridge that sat at one side of the Dunmer convoy; they threw heavy spears and fired simple, powerful bows as they charged towards the tense enemy.
A Guar howled as its hide was peirced by a cruel Argonian spear. Arrows bounced off shields, but several guards fell to the oncoming projectiles before a mage could throw up a shield spell.
"For Morrowind!" the Captain cried as he sent the Guars hurtling towards the city. "Stand and fight men!"
Shows-His-Teeth directed another volley of spears towards the fleeing Guar; a group of his men pursued the creatures on foot, their intention being to maneuver them away from the besieged city. Shows-His-Teeth, along with the bulk of his small force, met the Dunmer position with melee weapons at the ready; Shows-His-Teeth himself moved directly toward the group's leader.
The troop of Dunmer that had broken through the Argonian ranks were startled by the group of charging Guar. Most engaged the Argonian warriors pursuing the animals while others attempted to gain control of the herd.
As a menacing looking Argonian approached, the Captain cast a fireball at the lizard and raised his blade, preparing to strike. Some of his men charged to meet the advancing ambushers head on, while the rest took up a position at his side.

Ralvalas watched as more Argonians attempted to scale the walls, his men fired more arrows down at the attackers, but there were simply too many of them.
Setheran spat out orders left and right. His men were making good progress. Despite a few casualties, they had nearly scaled the city walls. He smiled and walked down the small hill on which he was stood. his eyes met with the oncoming sight of his Siege weapory. Exellent he thought to himself. He adressed the captain in charge of the vast machines. "Make ready the battering ram, captain. With the gate destroyed we can move the bulk of the horde into the city."
J'azzir gnashed his teeth as he and his soldiers fought on. The dunmer had reacted to their presence surprisingly astutely and j'azzir had lost more men than he would have liked. No matter he thought to himself. Much must be risked for glory. He rallied his men and moved them into a large group of dunmer protecting the lower wall of the city. His objective was in sight. He could feel it.

Ralvalas swung his blade as the first of the Argonians appeared, climing up the outer wall. The blade connected with a sickening thunk and the lizard fell backwards, knocking some of his companions down with him as he fell, crashing into the ground bellow. Dead.
His men continued to rain arrows down on the Argonians, while others drew their blades and engaged the ones scaling the walls.
Setheran oversaw the preperation of the battering ram himself. It's success was pivotal to the invasion of the city. It was vast. Built from a single black marsh tree, it's size was something to behold. The ram itself was under a large canopy which protected the 40 men needed to operate it from volleys of arrows. however, it's true distinguishing feature was the end of the ram. The tip of the vast log had been coated in both steel and adamantium and then shaped into a blunt point.
"Only the best for the capital city." Said setheran to himself as the monstrous creation slowly crept towards the city gates.
-----------------------------
J'azzir held his breath. He heard a scream from behind him as a dunmer charged in his direction, sword held high. J'azzir readied himself. the Dunmer reached him and aimed a long arcing sword stroke at his left shoulder. J'azzir dodged this nimbly and made a quick stabbing motion at the dunmers right flank. The man parried this leaving his left flank exposed. J'azzir used this to his advantage and struck him with a well aimed kick. The man stumbled for only a second but this was enough for any well trained soldier. J'azzir plunged his blade deep into the dunmers chest. there was a sharp scream and a gurgling sound before the man's lifeless body fell to the floor in a crumpled heap.
J'azzir stepped over the body and continued towards the city walls. His objective was close, he could feel it.
Shows-His-Teeth ducked low and to one side in an attempt to avoid the Captain's attack; the projectile missed the center mass of his body but succeeded in wickedly burning the flesh of his right side. Shows-His-Teeth moved forward nonetheless, several of his merciless warriors in tow. He lunged forward, spear extended fully, as soon as the Captain was in range- this initial, predictable attack, however, was easily avoided by the Dunmer soldier.
Expecting such an outcome, Shows-His-Teeth quickly began a flurry of quicker blows, the motion of his spear similar to that of a fish as it hesitantly bit at a fisherman's bait; his aim was not to land blows against the Captain, but to prevent him from moving into a position where he could strike against him and his men. Shows-His-Teeth maintained a sharp focus on the Dunmer foe's every move, ready to thrust the spear forward the moment he placed himself within its range.
The Captain slammed his shield forward, catching his enemies spear in the process. The shield was rendered useless, but it was worth it to end the barrage of Spear blows.
An Argonain lunged towards one of the Dunmer Guards, knocking him to the ground. The Argonian and two of his comrades leapt at their next foe, one plunging his blade into the unfortunate Dunmer's chest.
Suddenly, the pack of Guar hurtled into view, knocking the Argonians to their feet as they stormed towards the city, urged on by their Dunmer Guards.
A group of Argonians were in close pursuit, firing arrows and hurling spears as they got the chance.
The Guar charged through the Argonian ranks, spreading chaos across the already chaotic battleground.
On the battlements, the Dunmer were amazed by this sight, and some hurried to ready the gates for the much needed supplies, while others prepared to cover their entrance.
Shows-His-Teeth immediately drew the crude, short-bladed sword that hung from his simple belt, moving closer to the Dunmer Captain while preparing to strike with the weapon. Shows-His-Teeth maintained an aggressive stance; although it afforded him little time to react should his foe gain the upper hand, he hoped to overwhelm him before this could occur.
