Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
"The Three themselves are not located in Empire City." Logan told Hremai. "That's just what the media makes it look like to trick us. No mortal currently knows where they are hiding. We don't even know if they're all in the same place! So it'll probably be up to the eight of you to find out. Obviously it will not be an easy job. But the training you'll go through is intense. Lyra, Dragovan, and I went through the same program for just one month, and we were just able to defeat an entire convoy to rescue all of you! You will be prepared. General Sanchez knows what he's doing."

"So, when does the training start?" Aarys asked.

"It better be soon, if i'm going to try and murder three unkillable foes and have no idea of where they are I want to be ready." Gladro said.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

"So, why aren't you going on this suicide run? It seems rather cowardly to send some recruits on it, if you ask me." Ashriel said.

Ring-a-ding, baby.

Peter, in the midst of consuming his waffles, wordlessly and silently agreed with Ash's rather obvious point. He and the other seven present could not possibly be so preferable to the other men and women in the rebel outfit.

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
Dragovan frowned. "We don't f*cking know if we'll be helping you or not." he told Ashriel.
"Relax, Drago." Jeffery said calmly. He looked back at Ash. "William and I are stationed here. You might see us again. I don't know. Lyra, Dragovan, and Logan have their own jobs to do too. So do the rest of the rebels. Don't think we'll all be sitting around on our asses while each of you do the work. That's enough questions."
Lyra leaned up against the door leading to the elevator. "When each of you are done, we'll head back up and continue with our journey to the base."

Aarys quickly finished her food. She wanted to get to the base as soon as possible.

Lae slipped out of her seat, setting her fork down with a little clink. She wandered over to lean on the wall next to Lyra, cleaning her fingernails absently. Avoiding eye contact, she frowned a little towards the floor, lost in thought again.

Valentin finished one last waffle before standing and approaching the door. "I really don't mind the fact that we're being put into this type of situation." he said. "If we do die, at least we'll be dying for what we believe in."
"Uhh...Shut up, Beavis!"

"Shame..." Hremai said. "I'm beginning to like this place..."
She finished her breakfast and awaited orders.

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
Peter consumed the remainder of his breakfast and joined Valentin, Lyra, and Lae near the elevator door. He had left both plate and utensils on the table's surface, sincerely doubting the need to attend to either.

With the eight at the door, Lyra, Logan, and Dragovan took them back to the surface and towards the armored car. With each of the mortals having boarded, Lyra, Logan, and Dragovan climbed into the front seats. The car began moving forward down the path.
"Feel free to talk, sleep, or do whatever you wish to do from here on." Lyra said to the eight. "This trip shall be long."

"Dammit..." Aarys muttered, squirming in her seat. "We really need to get something more comfortable than an armoured car..."

"It's not much better up here, sweet." Dragovan told Aarys. "Toughen up."

Aarys smiled, pretending not to hear Dragovan. "Yeah... maybe get some plush seats..." She giggled.

Valentin smiled. "At this time in Empire City, I would already be at work in the weapons factory for two hours." he stated. "This is a weird feeling."

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
Laeriel rubbed her face with her hands and stretched out, pressing uncomfortably against whoever was adjacent to her. After a moment, she began humming a low tune, one that sounded distinctly feral and reminiscent of some time long gone.

Hremai was absent-mindedly pressing a hand against her blind eye, repeatedly removing her hand and repositioning it.

Gladro looked at Hermai as she placed her hand against her eye. The silence felt awkard but Gladro was happy listening to the sounds of nature coming from outside of the car and the low humming inside.

Ashriel sighed in the car and remained quiet. He was far past being obnoxious.

Ring-a-ding, baby.
