And he succeeded.
But with heroes fighting him, like his own children Nina gra-Soren and Bearn Thalias, their compatriots like Bearn’s half-sister, Jane Thalias, and a master wizard Theodore Romulus Aralen Clemtius III (Called Theo). Bearn’s fighting force, combined with the Rebel Commander Wayne Orion, gained more and more power throughout Cyrodiil. Eventually, they gathered a force large enough to take on and beat the Demon of Knowledge.
But, this would not have been possible without the help of the genius professor, Doctor Nylon Gerronius. He, with the help of his chief scientist, Allison, and a few others, created a machine known as Shadow Field that was basically a black hole that could destroy the God. But it came at a cost.
The Rebels needed to produce five sacrifices to power the machine. Bearn Thalias himself agreed, for he could not let someone he did not know sacrifice himself. Nina gra-Soren’s mother, Ana, also sacrificed herself. Feeling the same as Bearn, not wanting someone to kill himself over what he created, Nylon Gerronius chose to sacrifice himself. The rebel Jaura sacrificed herself, as well as the lich Maurice.
But before they could destroy the God… someone stopped them. It was Visas, a long time companion of the Master-Wizard Theo. She had silently tagged along and observed everything that occurred with Bearn Thalias, because she had an agenda of her own.
She revealed to them, that Hermaeus Mora was not in charge. She was. Her goal for the Demon of Knowledge was not even to take over the world, that was a nice side benefit for the Demon. Silently, while Mora’s armies were patrolling the world, he was fighting in his own battle.
Hermaeus Mora was confronting the Nine Divines, and absorbing their very essence, becoming more and more powerful. He did achieve this. The Nine Divines were no more, and Hermaeus Mora then turned to the other Daedric princes. He did the same thing he did to the divines, and Hermaeus Mora was left as the only major God left in existence.
You must ask: Why? Why was Hermaeus Mora doing this? Power? No. Visas instructed him to do this, of course. Why?
Visas was not always known as Visas. She is the oldest being in existence, in the beginning, there was Chaos. Not chaos, but an actual being known as Chaos. This being created everything that we know today, but lost her power in the process. (A true fact is that Sithis was created from distant myths of Chaos) Visas is in fact, this Chaos that lost her power.
After creating everything in existence, as you can understand, Chaos drained in power. She drained so much that part of her life force ebbed out, which caused her to sleep. She slept for countless eons, until her life returned to her and she awoke in what is now, under the Arcane University, can you imagine!
Chaos possessed a special power that was not drained out of her: She is a Seer, meaning that she can see into the future. The Arcane University is where she met the young apprentice Theo, and she knew his destiny.
Chaos then contacted the God that she made in anticipation of this very event. He came directly from Visas’s mind, and it was, of course, Hermaeus Mora. She instructed him to absorb the other Gods essence, so he could give their essences to her, making her who she was. Making her Chaos. Her plan worked perfectly because, of course, Visas saw it happening in the future. The Gods were gone, simple as that. Nirn stood alone in the Universe.
But there are certain people she cannot see. These people are called Wildcards, who are immune to Seers. They make their own future, unlike most, their fates are not carved in stone. Bearn Thalias happened to adopt a certain Wildcard known as Siren.
But this was just an eleven year old girl. Nonetheless, in her adventures, she encountered yet another wildcard, a ten year old Khajiit named Boon. Two Wildcards together were very dangerous to a Seer, so Visas tried to have them killed.
Her efforts proved useless, and just after Visas regained her powers, she was ‘killed’ by Siren and Boon. She did not see that coming!
Visas lost the God’s essence yet again lost a part of her life force, a nightmare for her. While she was gone, the Rebels defeated Mora and returned to peace.
But, ten years later, Chaos returned to Nirn after recovering from her wounds. And she found another source that could regain her power.
But could she succeed? Or would the Wildcards stop her?

Your character is to be a Wildcard, or a Seer’s Bane. He or she will need to help defeat Chaos before she regains her powers. How will she regain her powers? I don’t know, only Chaos does. She’ll reveal it when she wants to.
Remember, ten years ago the events of The Demon of Knowledge, an Elder Scrolls RP took place. And no, you do not need to have read that, participated in it, or anything. I explained everything important in the intro. Just remember that ten years ago an evil god did rule the world, if only for a year or so.
There are some new places that were constructed after the war. These places are:
The Nylon Gerronius Institute of Learning: A University off the coast of Anvil, the former place of Nylon’s lab. The geniuses of tomorrow learn there, from ages 10-25.
The Thalias Memorial: The official monument for the War. It is west of Kvatch, where Bearn Thalias and his family, all now deceased except for Siren, his adopted daughter, lived. The farm where Bearn lived was destroyed by Hermaeus Mora, but the grateful citizens have erected a huge statue of Bearn Thalias and many smaller statues of his companions. (Too many to describe to you, there were several dozen that traveled with Bearn. Yes, Bun-Za, Philippe, Ormis, and the other Roleplayer’s characters have been immortalized here.)
The National Graveyard: This graveyard has been constructed in the Imperial Reserve, the site of the battle where Mora took power. Around half a million people are buried here, with the same amount of tombstones. It is quite a sight to behold.
So, create a character, a Wildcard, and have them live a little before their life changes forever. Remember, don’t contact us.
We’ll contact you.

In case you are not entirely convinced this roleplay is for you, this roleplay will start in Cyrodiil, and take place in the following provinces: Summerset Isles, Skyrim, Valenwood, Black Marsh, and Elsweyr.
I'm not telling you anything with this, but Chaos might not have absorbed a certain Daedric Prince... because Hermaeus Mora could not find him... a certain Prince that would hate the idea of chaos...
The Rules...
* Create as many characters as you want, only one may be a Wildcard.
* You can create characters through the story. Note that some non-Wildcards may die.
* Romances are allowed.
* For the first chapter of this roleplay, your character(s) will be largely independent until they find the others.
* Wildcard's disrupt the future of those around them. Note that if non-Wildcards leave the presence of the Wildcards, their presence will be known to Chaos.
* Use good grammar and spelling at all times. I can stand a lot of things, but this is not one of them. I have the right to kick you out of the roleplay if your spelling and grammar makes your posts unreadable.
* Obviously, the normal rules. No god-rping, etc.
* You have no strict set of combat rules, I.E. "Josh shot 5 times at the guy's chest -- did 30 points of damage"
* GUNS WERE INVENTED IN THE PREVIOUS ROLEPLAY, BUT WITH THE DISCORD FOLLOWING THE WAR THIS TECHNOLOGY WAS LOST. It will remain lost.
