Okay, so Baurus and I are about to go to the meeting in the sewer to get the fourth Mythic Dawn book. I decide to check Baurus to see if he has a torch, so I pickpocket him (I don't steal anything). He alerts the guards and while they're swinging at me, Baurus just stands there and when I get close, he moves to the sewers and doesn't try to help me.

So now we're in the sewers. The guards are chasing me and Baurus sint' helping. I quickly dispatch of them and get the: "Your killing has been observed by forces unknown..." message.

Deciding that Baurus had betrayed a fellow Blades member (Hello! Don't Blades help each other??), I knock him unconscience many times with arrows all the way to the meeting. As he sits down to meet the sponser and I oversee on a ledge, I shoot him once more and he attacks.

Now on the ledge, Baurus makes his final stand. With Mythic dawn agents and the player against him, it's only a matter of time. I shoot arrows at him and he dies and I dispatch the remaining Mythic dawn agients. Then suddenly, an Imperial guard appears out of nowhere and arrests me on the spot.

So that was my crazy adventure yet. Imperial guards, Baurus, and the Mythic dawn agents all died just because of an innocent act of checking to see if Baurus had a torch (I swore I remember reverse-pickpocking the torch in him during the beginning of the game.)

Well, I discovered an easy way out of the sewers. Just commit some crime that'll alert the guards and do the quest and presto! The guards will escort you personally from the sewers and into jail.

Left my Xbox on for while I was making food for about 20 minutes in IC. Came back and there was dead bodies all over the place and guards fighting Mythic Dawn.

The Sulinus/Vigge has been mentoined at least three times, but in that Mage's Guild (where I camp in Skingard b/c I'm too cheap to get a hotel room) I think I've woken up beside everyone in there.

I was running along with my horse when before long I was being chased by a wolf. I decided it wasn't worth taking the time to get off my horse, so I kept going, only to be confronted by two bandits. The wolf showed up, shortly followed by the conjurer added by the spell tomes plugin. I tried killing off the wolf but accidently hit the horse. So now I'm being bombarded by a wolf, crazed horse, two bandits, and a conjurer/stalker. Out of habit I tried to yield to my horse and my character froze. The game continued; I could even open my menu. However, my character was standing about 3 feet above the ground with his shield in front of his face, and I absolutely could not move. The badguys started fighting amongst themselves. The conjurer took out one bandit before being killed by the other while my horse killed the wolf. My horse managed to take out the bandit and started wailing on me. It was insane.

1 - I'll start with the least interesting: On two occasions I've gone to sleep in a bed and woken up to find someone sleeping in the same bed with me.

2 - At Weynon Priory, my horse must have drunk an Invisibility Potion. Going next to where I left it, I saw the horseshoe Icon saying I could ride it, but it just wasn't there. I came back the next day and things were back to normal.

3 - Another horse glitch, it was grazing for food on an elevated embankment. When it walked down the hill and on to flat ground, it stayed elevated at the same angle as the hill.

Oh, I forgot to write out the big ones.......

4 - When doing that mission at Hackdirt (finding the missing daughter, don't remember the Quest name), I arrived late at night there and the first person I spoke to was the one person interested in helping me. So I didn't get a chance to first speak to that woman who owned the Trader (the usual way to do the quest, and the person I was sent to find originally). When I went underground to rescue the girl, in the middle of slaughtering the worshippers/cult members, that woman appeared, standing casually in the cavern centre. I spoke to her, and she said she'd never heard of the girl or the horse. Then I started to trade goods with her. All in the middle of a battle  So I killed her. And I got a bounty on my head for my trouble (and maybe a visit from the Dark Brotherhood, I can't remember now).

Then that guy who helped me kept on casting a disappearing spell and arriving right in front of me. For the rest of the mission, every time I opened a chest and took something, he said "Hey, that's mine", and my bounty went up. So I killed him too. In the end, I just restarted that mission, had no choice, and I'm glad I had a save game to go to.

5 - The mission "Unfriendly competition" (I think that's the name), after walking into the Crypt, instead of walking in and hearing him give his speech on knowing I was after him and he'd set a trap, I started casting spells and shooting arrows at him and the guard that worked for him.

Next thing i know, the guard is screaming at me, "STOP, YOU HAVE BROKEN THE LAW. PAY YOUR FINE OR GO TO JAIL.......". Damn corruption in the police force

For 4 & 5. During most quests, when an NPC is intitially friendly, or non-hostile, but you know they will turn on you, you have to wait until they turn on you. If you attack them first, it is considered a crime. Just like normal.

For quests, there are triggers, which activate scripts. Dealing with turncoat NPC's, they are friendly, until you talk to them, or they give their "007, I'm gonna kill you by talking you to death" Speech.

I find Count Janus Hassildor in the middle of the Imperial City. I talk to a guard, all is well.

I walk up to Hassildor and sneak next to him, and next thing you know...:

"STOP! YOU VIOLATED THE LAW. PAY THE COURT A FINE OR GO TO JAIL!"

Detect Life

Post by slam6 »

I was playing (not knowing I had a Detect life on something) and couldn't figure out why everyone was pink/ purple colour. Even when you talk to people they were pink/ purple colour. I thought it was a glitch of some sort, I even search this forum looking for a answer. It wasn't until I swap a weapon or ring, it went away. then I realised what it was. I must of been playing for a good 10hrs until I worked out what it was

I hate it in Mages Guilds when most of the beds are owned. The Chorrol one for example. There is only one unowned bed. And there is always someone sleeping in it.

So here I am, waking the poor person up at 2AM. He gets up, I quickly activate the bed to sleep. I wake up in the morning and there's that guy sleeping in a standing position, his feet on the bed. Did he get so desperate for sleep that he decided to stand on the bed :?: Freak...

Riding on Shadowmere, with Adoring Fan following me, I fast travel. Upon arriving at my destination and getting off Shadowmere, Shadowmere and Adoring Fan get in a fight!!! Obviously, Shadowmere killed him with no difficulty. I just found this almost as hilarious as throwing him off Dive Rock.

Although rare, there are occasions where Adoring Fan will fight rather than flee from combat. The cause of this is unknown.

I don't mean to necro-post, but..

..I was doing the DB quest where I have to save Francis Motierre. Everything was fine--I "killed" Montierre, I "escaped" from Hides-His-Heart, and waited until the next day--however, upon arriving in the undercroft, I found that apparently the Languorwine had worn off a bit early, as he was standing around next to his . He even said hi. However, I was unable to talk to him or even pickpocket him. I read somewhere that attacking and then surrendering works on some odd bugs like that, so I tried it. I was unable to surrender. So, I reloaded the autosave, walked out, and waited AGAIN until the next day. Luckily THAT worked and he was taking a nap like he was supposed to.

PS: 100!

These weird things happen in my game all the time, I think it's because I use Oldblivion... But, the funniest thing that happened was, I was I had 100% Reflect Damage and Spell... and I was running into a rock casting a spell over and over by Exhausted Cave, and so I left it running while at school, and when i came back, my skills had boosted but I didnt get the perk msg... So when I turned around there were dead wolves, deer, ogres, and goblin shaman all around me... it was hilarious! :Twisted Evil:

This story (real) begins with my rampage on Skingrad. I killed a mage called Alval Uvani (or something like this). Next week, I found his corpse in the streets and I decided o resurrect him with the staff of worms. I shot the spell at him, the usual animation, and then... he went flying like a rocket against the wall and He went INTO the wall.
Another: In Skingrad I finished Glarthirs quest killing all the people. I decided to talk with him again. When I activated him he went rampage in the city. It happens all time. In 1st person there is no talk icon when i select him. WTF?
