Re: Battle for the East Discussion Thread
User: ChaosDawns
Character: Kogomorag (Dunmeri in origin, Ko for short)
Allegiance: Dunmer, Telvanni, Spellwright
Race: Khajiit, Dagi
Gender: Male
Class: Telvanni Spellwright (Nightblade/spellsword)
Class Information: He uses his blade like a longsword and uses restorative magic to fortify his strengths to make up for his size. Close-combat specialist that uses his magic to gain the advantage in battle.
Equipment: Due to his Diminutive size, he uses a glass shortsword (enchanted with dispel), wears a Chitin armor (no helm, gloves or boots) with a hood and goggles (see chitin/boil netch leather helms) to protect his eyes from bright lights
Class Build (Morrowindesque - keep it to roleplaying, don't worry if it's a gimped build in the actual game):
Favoured Attributes: Agility, Willpower
Major Skills: Illusion, Short Blade, Destruction, Light Armor, Restoration
Minor Skills: Enchant, Alteration, Acrobatics, Hand-to-hand, Sneak
Personality/Characteristics: Seldom forthcoming in his words and alien in his mannerisms, his life of servitude has taught him to speak only when spoken to(or when nessicary) if at all. His ascension in House Telvanni and life of slavery has made him observant and patient. In a bit of Stockholm syndrome fashion he doesn't hate the Dunmer for enslaving him (Knowing little of life outside of serving) and is fiercely loyal to his House for granting him his freedom and rank. However beneath it all is a burning
hatred for Argonians and Abolitionists in particular.
Physical Description (optional): (Based off of fan art, pic1 pic2) Being of Dagi stock, he is Diminutive in size (a little shorter than a Bosmer). His fur is auburn in color and he has large amber eyes (depending on brightness).
Background: His first childhood memory that he can recall was searching for the familiar face midst the bloodshed in a village west of Tear in Southern Morrowind. He spent his early life hiding from the horrors of the Arnesian War, managing to survive off of rations from dead soldiers until he was found by Dres Slavers and sold to a Redoran noble in Vvardenfel. But it didn't last, he continued to go through masters as they sold him off to interested parties or to clear debt. Mining kwarma eggs and being used to search the dark corners of Vvardenfel (Used as a tracker/guide-in-the-dark), but despite this, it didn't endear him to his fellow slaves as he had seen more than enough blood shed over revolts. His more alien looks made it difficult for his fellow slaves to approach him and of those that he did befriend far too many were lead to their deaths by those claiming to set them free, whether it be by abolitionist or fellow slaves in failed attempts for escape. Finally, he was bought by a kind Telvanni noble who fostered his innate magical affinity, gave him his first name Kogomorag (meaning Unbreakable-Forester in Dunmeri) and who one day offered freedom in exchange for helping fight back the Daedra. He fought during the Oblivion Crysis across eastern Vvardenfel only to return to his master's estate in ruin, everyone slain. Having no where to turn to he went to Sadrith Mora and pledged his life to the House. Many were the difficulties of ascending in rank, but his steadfast loyalty and unique skills were begrudgedly recognized, granting him the rank of Spellwright. He has been predominately used as a scout and unassuming bodyguard.
He was sent as a bodyguard to the new Archmagister and to keep an eye on this new 'rising star' as a few of the councilors' mandate
Birthsign: The Tower
Color: Dark green

Re: Battle for the East Discussion Thread
I wanted to do something to exemplify the "Wisdom confers Power and Power confers right" in a less traditional sense (more emphasis on power = right). I originally had a 'gentle giant' character, but it felt out of place in the telvanni and in a war council. This should be interesting, can't wait for Saturday

User: Jake-uh
Character: Ra'jir
Allegiance: Argonia
Race: Argonian, Naga. Looks quite like this, different color though
Gender: Male
Age (optional): Mid-fifties
Class: Highwayman
Equiptment: Consists of two ebony maces, and a iron shield with a medium sized spike in the middle.(For a back-up weapon.)
Leather pants, no shirt, and broken slaver shackles, being the only thing he found the day the slavers took his tribe.
Class Information: Used to be a Highwayman, untill the invasion of Morrowind caught his attention.
Favoured Attributes: Strength, endurance.
Major Skills: Blunt, unarmored, athletics, block, light armor.
Minor Skills: Hand to hand, speechcraft, merchantile. (Out of intimidation.)
Personality/Characteristics: Very loyal, rather dumb, a follower not a leader, stupidly brave. Like most Naga, he is eight feet tall.
Physical Description (optional): Large, intimidating, serpent like, giant teeth, hard yellow scales, big green eyes.
Background: Ra'jir was raised very poorly, to say the least. After he was born, his parants vanished, leaving him alone at the age of five, it was a miracle that he was found by a tribe of Lilmothiit in a camp who were off hunting several hours away the day afterwards, as odd as it was, he was raised by them(hence his name),for a good ten years or so, he left one day, ordered to go scavenge for herbs, for the healer of their tribe, upon coming back the site was absent of life, he seen several of his tribe members dead on the ground, and tracks leading north, he chased after them and traced them until he saw in the distance dunmer slavers who had the rest of tribe in chains. There were so many dunmer, that even he knew he couldn't stand a chance. Leaving him alone again, watching the only ones dear to him getting torn away from his life. After that day he became an empty shell, living without purpose. Being a highwayman just because it's one of the few things nagas are good at, he soon favored big intimidating weapons over tribal ones, became even stronger over the years, living off of loot from the ones he killed. forgetting what it is like to have comrades. He vowed to get his revenge on the dunmer one day, if he would ever get the chance. And out of respect for his kind, he never robs or wounds argonians, as well as any other race, besides mer. Upon hearing about the invasion on Morrowind, he felt with purpose again, and is hoping to find his old tribe. If not them, someone else to be loyal to.
Birthsign: The warrior

Re: Battle for the East Discussion Thread
Just to clarify the start time, it is 6am GMT at the moment, that will be 4pm where I am (GMT+10) and 11pm GMT-7.
Apologises to anyone who can't make those times. PM or post if you really want to discuss the times, but even if you can't make the Council, you may still sign up to participate (i.e. be a part of the RP).

I may miss the begining of the Council, as I shall be feasting on Jake's scaly hide in the middle of a romantic dinner.
But I shall endeavor to be there none the lest.

Re: Battle for the East Discussion Thread
That's fine, I've worked out an in-game mechanism to allow people not at the council to join in a seamless manner, I haven't seen Ezkaton in a while. He'll be there wont he (I'd like heads of Houses). I'll PM him and I'll ask the warriors of Redoran to investigate for me as well.

I'll probably be in for the beginning of the council, but drop off after a bit due to the fact that it'll be 1am where I am; I still need to sleep even if I have the weekend off
