The Imperial Library

Post by ronenum »

The UESP and The Imperial Library are collectively, without a doubt, the definitive source for Elder Scrolls information. I’m curious, who are our friends at the Library? Who owns/administrates it?

All I can say is that the IL is the home of lore and the UESP is the home of game related info. However, IL articles are not themselves credible sources for UESP articles.

You can use the same sources. There are some great articles there.

Yes, I love the IL. I think I saw a forum section on the site and I am thinking of joining. Is anyone else here a member over there? is the forum active?

Thank you, this seems interesting. They've been at work longer as well...

Say, I haven't found the forum section... I'm not sure there is one.

Ok, here is what you do...first you create an account then on the left side there should be a "Recent posts" button. Click it. This is anything new that has been added to the site, including forum posts.

haha, it seems a bit crude, but its the only way i can find to get to their forums

I'm pretty good friends with Lady Nerevar, who does the Stirk stuff that used to be on Tamriel Rebuilt. She's over at the TIL.

As for actual UESP members, I don't think any are. People tend to stick to one website. If you're really active on here or the TIL, it takes up a lot of time. It's a hell spin to do both, though I won't say that it can't be done.

That's very true. I'm on the Beth forums too, but I spend most of my time here. I might join at the Library, but I'll still be found here most of my time online.

Well to be honest, I am a member of the TIL but I rarely log on and hardly ever check the place. Most of my time is dedicated to writing on the official forums, and occasionally I drop by here, but that's about it. It's hard to do several websites.
